Paul Porter, franchisor and CEO of Premier Franchise Management, the franchisor for Premier Pools & Spas chose Jimmy Holston of Gulfport, Mississippi to become the first Mississippi franchisee in Premier Pools & Spa’s 28 year history. Porter chose Holston to operate in the Gulfport, Biloxi area of Mississippi.
Holston is a well-known and established builder in the Gulfport, Biloxi area and has more than 25 years of pool and construction expertise. Holston’s love of pool building stemmed from a gift. His parents had purchased him a fiberglass pool as his high school graduation present, and he went to work for that very company. By 1998 Holston had started his own pool building company. With numerous franchisee applications coming across Paul Porter’s desk every month, Holston’s application stood out. “I have a deeply rooted sense of responsibility that stems from a desire to protect the industry that has made my dreams come true. Jimmy Holston’s goals, ambition and heart are in line with Premier Pools & Spas' mission. We are ecstatic to have him come on board,” Porter stated.
The selection process for new franchisees consists of a comprehensive background check and several inquiries to local vendors and distributors, as well as previous customer and personal references. “After almost 20 years of pool building we needed a change in direction to achieve our next level of growth.
