PowerSchool revolutionizes student registration for Barrington School District SAU 74

PowerSchool was chosen by Barrington School District SAU 74 (NH) to customize an online student registration solution, replacing an annual paper-intensive process. Seamless integration between the PowerSchool student information system (SIS) and registration solution will result in up-to-date student data by the first day of school.
“Our parents were tasked with filling out a variety of forms every school year. We’re streamlining this process by eliminating paper and modernizing our approach to the student registration process,” said Nancy Vincent, Director of Technology at Barrington School District SAU 74.
The electronic format allows families who have more than one child in the district to ‘snap’ data from one student to another. SmartForm™ technology, an intuitive tool built into the solution, collects relevant data based on previously entered information or choices (grade, activities, medical history, etc.). The data submitted by families is reviewed, polished, and formatted to meet district policies and then delivered into the SIS, resulting in up-to-date and accurate records on the first day of school.
“We’re eliminating an extensive amount of hours that administrators previously spent inputting data into our SIS. The solution will increase efficiency at the district and provide a user-friendly experience for our families,” notes Vincent. Online student registration will launch on March 7, 2016, for the Barrington School District SAU 74 school community.
