AMResorts® continues its expansion with new resort openings in top travel destinations.
Orlando, Florida – January 11, 2016 – (INTUITION by Perspective Group) – Unlimited Vacation Club (UVC) by AMResorts® is offering members more vacation destination options than ever before. AMResorts continues its rapid expansion plan with a total of six new resorts in 2015. By the end of 2018, UVC members will be able to use their exclusive travel benefits at nearly 60 resorts in Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America.

In November of 2015, two new adults-only, Unlimited-Luxury® resorts opened its doors. Secrets® Akumal Riviera Maya made its debut in November. This breathtaking resort is located in the heart of the Riviera Maya alongside the famed white-sand beaches and crystal clear waters of Akumal. It boasts 434 elegantly appointed suites, many of which have stunning ocean views. Secrets® Papagayo Costa Rica also opened in November and is located on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. This unique oceanfront property sits on a black volcanic sand beach and features 202 spacious guest rooms with world-class amenities.
Last December presented two new Unlimited-Luxury® resorts to UVC members. Breathless® Cabo San Lucas Resort & Spa opened in mid-December and is located on beautiful Medano beach, the safest swimmable beach in Cabo San Lucas. This ultra-luxury resort has 169 contemporary style suites with spectacular ocean and marina views, as well as an exciting entertainment program. Now® Garden Punta Cana, located next door to Now Larimar Punta Cana and Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana, opened in late December. This family-friendly modern resort is located close to the world-famous Bavaro Beach. It boasts 180 rooms with connecting unit options, ideal for large families. Additionally, it has swim-up rooms with direct access to a private pool.
Three new Sunscape® Resorts & Spas opened in December of 2015, offering the family-friendly Unlimited-Fun® program. Sunscape® Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa also opened in mid-December. This oceanfront property is located in beautiful Banderas Bay and features 320 guestrooms and suites. Sunscape Puerto Vallarta is within walking distance to the Marina Vallarta area with dining, shopping and entertainment, the Marina Vallarta Golf Club, and the main pier. Neighboring Sunscape® Cove Montego Bay and Sunscape® Splash Montego Bay resorts in Jamaica also made their debut in late December. There is even a Pirate’s Paradise waterpark shared by both properties, making these two resorts perfect for families.
Secrets® Playa Bonita Panama Resort & Spa opened the first week of January 2016 offering an adults only Unlimited-Luxury® experience where guests will enjoy unlimited top shelf spirits and gourmet dining, 24-hour room service, pool and beach wait service, and more. This scenic property is located minutes from the Panama Canal and boasts 310 luxury guest rooms and suites with views of the Pacific Coast.
What’s To Come
AMResorts will continue on its rapid growth plan with two more resort openings early this year: Sunscape® Puerto Plata Dominican Republic set to open in mid-February and Breathless® Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa set to open in the spring season.
