La-Rich LLC Receives GAF’s Prestigious 2015 President’s Club Award

La-Rich LLC of Plainville, CT, has received GAF’s 2015 President’s Club Award. A GAF Master Elite(R) contractor since 2007, it provides roofing, remodeling, and construction services to residential homeowners and commercial properties.
Plainville, CT – June 10, 2016 – La-Rich LLC of Plainville, Connecticut, has received the most prestigious contractor award GAF has to offer: The GAF President’s Club Award. This highly coveted award recognizes La-Rich as one of the “elite of the elite” residential roofing contractors in the United States.
GAF is North America’s largest roofing manufacturer, and only GAF Master Elite(R) Contractors can compete for its residential President’s Club Award. To qualify for this award, a residential roofing contractor must demonstrate an exceptional level of excellence in their business, especially in the areas of Installation Excellence, Consumer Protection, and Installer Training.
La-Rich has been a GAF Master Elite(R) Contractor since 2007. To become a Master Elite(R) Contractor–a status that less than 2% of roofing contractors nationwide have achieved–a candidate must demonstrate proper licensing and adequate insurance, have a proven reputation and show commitment to ongoing professional training.
A prospective roofing customer should have full trust and confidence in his or her selected contractor. We use synthetic underlayment, beneath the shingle roofing–it has exceptional dimensional stability, better than felt. We install an ice and water shield, which forms a waterproof barrier where ice most often builds up. Chimneys are common locations for leaks to form, so we ensure that the chimneys are correctly flashed with lead, using the techniques endorsed by the National Roofing Contractors Association and our suppliers. We also flash around vents and drain stacks. Finally, we use an eight-inch drip edge to prevent water from running under the edges of the shingles.”
More than just a roofer, La-Rich also installs and services siding, decks, and replacement windows. “We use only the best in vinyl siding,” says Deprey, “as well as quality window and door products to provide beautiful accents and to lower energy bills.
