LOGICnow’s MAXfocus technology identified as the platform to power Konica Minolta’s pan-European Managed IT Services growth strategy

EDINBURGH – 08 December, 2015 – Konica Minolta has selected LOGICnow to support further growth in its managed IT services offering.

Konica Minolta has been working with LOGICnow in Europe for the last two years, deploying LOGICnow’s MAXfocus Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) platform across more than 20 countries to underpin its Managed Print Services (MPS) operations. This new extension to the partnership will see Konica Minolta use LOGICnow’s platform to evolve its current services offering to full IT Service Management (ITSM) across its pan-European customer base.

“Our ambition to deliver full ITSM to our European customers is an important strategic development for Konica Minolta, and depended on our ability to find a suitable technology platform on which to build the service,” said Olaf Lorenz, General Manager, International Marketing Division, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe. “We have had a productive relationship with LOGICnow for the last two years and used this to establish our current ITSM capability. The comprehensive monitoring features and ease of use made it a simple decision to extend our use of the technology to support our full ITSM ambitions.”

Konica Minolta chose LOGICnow’s platform to expand its managed services portfolio because of the breadth and versatility of its toolset, the technology’s inherent pan-European scalability and ease of deployment, and LOGICnow’s development roadmap. “We are confident that with LOGICnow’s support, we will be able to offer an expanded range of IT services to our current and future customer base to meet their evolving needs,” continued Lorenz.

“Konica Minolta is an established MPS leader in Europe, with thousands of deployments across the region, and we are delighted to have been able to support this market-leading business with our technology. This expanded partnership is an important validation of the versatility and effectiveness of our full technology offering,” says Alistair Forbes, General Manager at LOGICnow. “At LOGICnow we are passionate about supporting our customers to grow and evolve their businesses, building recurring revenue from comprehensive, proactive and efficient managed IT services. Konica Minolta has ambitious plans for growth in this area and we look forward to building on our partnership to support the full range of Managed Services across Europe with such a prestigious partner. We are confident that the combination of our technology and Konica Minolta’s expertise will deliver a great solution for Konica Minolta customers across Europe.”
