The two-day event will bring together professionals from the public and private health law sectors to discuss significant case law developments and share invaluable insights.

According to its website, the 22nd Annual Health Law Institute will review new and important case law and regulatory developments, provide a comprehensive update on the False Claims Act, discuss the Affordable Care Act, and have influential professionals in the health law industry presenting on more than 60 panels. Mattioli will be speaking on the panel, “Compliance in Behavioral Health: Therapy for Billing & Payment Disorders.” The panel will discuss compliance issues facing behavioral health providers as well as privacy issues pertaining to mental health services. Additionally, recent legislation aimed at behavioral health privacy will be discussed.

Mattioli provides regulatory, transactional, and compliance guidance to hospitals, physicians, and other health care providers in a variety of areas, including antitrust, health care reform, managed care contracting, reimbursement, fraud, and health information privacy and security, and medical staff credentialing. He has litigated numerous cases involving health care entities in antitrust, False Claims Act, breach of privacy, and commercial disputes with other providers.
