Arlington, TX (PRWEB) November 04, 2016

interRel CEO and Oracle ACE Director Edward Roske joins the Australian Oracle User Group (AUSOUG) and the Asia Pacific Oracle User Group (APOUG) as they educate at multiple tour stops in Australia and Asia as part of the Connect 2016 Conferences.

Roske will kick off the conference with AUSOUG in Australia, first in Perth from November 7-8, followed by Melbourne from November 10-11. He will travel from Australia to Singapore to speak with APOUG on November 15, then head to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to present on November 17, and will wrap up the conference in Hong Kong, China on November 21. Roske will be delivering multiple sessions: Cloud Atlas: Your Guide to the Ever-Changing Oracle EPM Cloud Landscape and The New Mobile Frontier: Hyperion & Oracle Business Intelligence.

AUSOUG is Australia’s largest independent Oracle User Group and has been delivering services and information to Oracle practitioners for over 34 years. The AUSOUG Connect 2016 Conferences focus on bringing together the Oracle community and servicing their core technical, development, and applications needs through presentations and training. A balanced program is aimed at all levels of skill and experience within a forum of user-led independent knowledge sharing. This series provides an unbiased, collaborative forum for Oracle users to share, learn, and explore the changing opportunities available from Oracle and its partners while providing participants with an unprecedented opportunity to gain detailed knowledge and skills, covering Oracle’s latest announcements from Oracle OpenWorld 2016, 12c Database new features, Cloud-based services, practical training, and much more. The group continues to provide relevant, topical, and up-to-date information for its members through national meetings, online outlets, and face-to-face. AUSOUG provides member services through conferences, State Branch meetings, regular e-communications which highlight specific and beneficial events, and the annual magazine ‘Foresight’ as well as its sister publication ‘Foresight Online.’

APOUG, established in 1998, is part of the largest international Oracle user group communities, backed by AUSOUG and OAUG. APOUG helps local user groups to establish a foundation, gain access to the international communities, and coordinate activities. The group does this by running education days, master classes, conferences, and an extensive range of reference groups which dive deep into specific Oracle applications, technologies, cloud services, and supporting partner products. APOUG’s mission is to provide a forum where users of Oracle products and services can share experience, opportunities, and success. Global experience has proven that these communities assist people and the organizations using Oracle solutions to grow and gain the experience needed to deliver successful outcomes.

“Excitement about the cloud is as big as anything I’ve seen since the dot-com boom at the turn of the century,” Roske said about presenting across the globe. “The cloud has removed traditional barriers to entry like the upfront costs of servers and software as well as the long-term maintenance of installed software. This makes cloud products ideal for smaller companies and emerging markets. I’m thrilled to educate people around the world as they embark on their Oracle EPM cloud journey.”

These conferences will add to Roske’s vast list of speaking engagements. He has spoken in over 40 countries on six continents, including Oracle Technology Network (OTN) tours throughout Latin America, Asia Pacific, India, and the Middle East & North Africa. He has also presented at SAOUG Connect in South Africa, DOAG in Germany, UKOUG in the United Kingdom & Scotland, and major Oracle conferences such as Oracle OpenWorld, ODTUG Kscope, and OAUG Collaborate. He is a co-author of 10+ books in the Look Smarter Than You Are with Oracle EPM series, authors the popular blog Look Smarter Than You Are, and is an active member of the EPM/BI community on Twitter (@ERoske).
