Dr. Les Latner, DDS, of Westside Dental Associates, joins the Board of Trustees of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation.

Dr. Les Latner, owner of Westside Dental Associates, announced he recently became a member of the Board of Trustees of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation, which fixes the broken smiles of victims of domestic violence. “I am proud to be a member of an organization whose vision is ‘Restore a smile, restore a life,’” said Dr. Latner, a volunteer dentist who has helped restore the smiles of domestic violence victims for the past ten years.
The mission of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation (AACDCF) is to assist in rebuilding the smiles and lives of adults who’ve suffered dental injuries from domestic and sexual violence, through compassionate cosmetic dental services and support programs. Patients are referred to the AACDCF by social service agencies that are aware of the program.
In addition to being on the Board of Trustees of the AACDCF, Dr. Latner has been a volunteer lecturer at the UCLA School of Dentistry for the past 21 years, teaching pediatric dentistry. He was also, for the third consecutive year, named a top dentist by Los Angeles Magazine.
