New technology and digital offerings benefit clients and staff

Steno Services LLC recently began working with LiveLitigation, formerly known as LiveDeposition, and is utilizing their full suite of services. Remote Realtime allows any reporter working with the firm the ability to log on and conduct remote depositions for out-of-town or out-of-state attorneys. This allows individuals to save time and money, reducing the impact on the environment from travel, while still receiving the same quality and experience provided by a knowledgeable court reporter for a very reasonable price.
Attorneys can attend a deposition from miles or even states away with Remote Deposition. The web-based program allows for two-way viewing while questioning a witness or one-way viewing for experts observing the testimony. Files are introduced, marked up, and admitted using the Electronic Exhibits feature for even further paperless litigation. Attorneys can also privately converse with experts, paralegals, or partners while the deposition is happening via private chat groups.
Although the court reporting firm’s clients, including attorneys who need to conduct depositions from other locations, will certainly benefit from these green initiatives and advanced technology offerings, employees in the firm can reap the rewards, too.

Since it is VoIP, when the firm’s phone rings, that call goes directly to an Internet protocol desk phone, computer software, even iPhones or iPads, connecting employees with clients and customers at all times.
