A Chicago mother of three Melanie Mendelson launched free weekly meal plans with recipes and printable shopping list on her website MelanieCooks.com to provide an answer to "What's For Dinner".

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) February 16, 2016

Chicago-based food blogger and a mother of three Melanie Mendelson (MelanieCooks.com) has launched a complimentary weekly meal plan for busy people who are in need of some cooking inspiration. A passionate home cook, Mendelson wanted to create a meal plan to solve the “what’s for dinner” dilemma so many everyday people face.

“What’s so different about my weekly meal plans is that they’re 100% free,” said Mendelson. “Already stressed and busy adults are faced with even more financial burden by paying for meal planning services. I want to share my love of cooking and baking with everyone in need of some inspiration.”

Mendelson’s recipes are designed to be affordable, easy to make, and geared towards the everyday cook. The weekly menu includes 5 dinner recipes and 1 dessert. Each recipe includes clear instructions and a picture of a finished dish. There is also a printable weekly shopping list for each week's menu with all recipe ingredients in one place.

“As a mother of three, I know how hard it can be to cook enough nutritious, delicious, and quality food at a moment’s notice,” said Mendelson. “Cooking has been a passion of mine for a long time. I, too, am busy, and want to help ease the stress millions of families face every day. The meal plans on my website are designed to be easy-to-use, and my recipes are simple enough for everyday people.”

MelanieCooks.com releases weekly meal plans every Monday. So far, Mendelson is on Week 7 of her complimentary meal plans. The latest meal plan's dinners are turkey meatballs, chicken tortilla soup, pasta with alfredo sauce, shrimp fried rice and chicken onion pita pizza. The website includes past weekly meal plans for viewing as well.
