With over 30 years of experience in crisis management, business resiliency, continuity of operations plan development, systems integration, and strategic planning, Bang-Knudsen will advise customers in the areas of Business Impact Analysis (BIA); IT Gap Analysis; Continuity Program Governance; and provide onsite and remote staff augmentation for BC planning.

Prior to joining Strategic BCP, Bang-Knudsen served as BC Engagement Manager at Union Bank, part of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, with over 10,000 employees and 382 branches. Before that he was Business Resiliency Manager at IBM; DR/BC Project Implementation Manager at McKesson; Manager of BC/DR at Engineering Services Network (ESN); Manager of COOP at Booz Allen Hamilton; and Director of IT within the U.S. Marine Corps, where he implemented the Critical Infrastructure Protection Program and developed recovery strategies for the Naval Observatory's Atomic Clock.
Bang-Knudsen is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), a Project Management Professional (PMP), and is certified in Crisis Communication Fundamentals. He also served as Board Member for the Association of Contingency Planners (ACP) from 2013 to 2014.
