Sharing inspiration and hope for those struggling with addiction, A Forever Recovery releases new videos highlighting two of their many success stories.

Battle Creek, Michigan (PRWEB) December 02, 2015

In an effort to give hope to those who may be struggling with addiction in their lives, either from a personal battle or witnessing a loved one struggling with substance abuse, A Forever Recovery has added two new interviews to their Graduate Testimonial video series. Located in southwest Michigan, A Forever Recovery is a holistic treatment center for substance abuse that takes a unique personalized approach to rehabilitation. As these video interviews show, every person at their recovery center is different, and their program is designed to be adaptable to each patient’s individual needs.

“We post the graduate testimonial videos regularly in the hopes that they can help make the decision to seek treatment a little easier in an already difficult time,” commented A Forever Recovery founder Per Wickstrom. “We have to show people that rehabilitation does work, and that recovery is possible. Without optimism for a brighter future, those struggling with addiction would simply lay down in defeat. Instead, we want to help lift people up by giving motivation and encouragement, and offering hope in what otherwise seems to be a hopeless situation.”

What Patients Say About A Forever Recovery

The video interviews, which focus on the changes that these graduates have made in their lives, have been uploaded to the A Forever Recovery YouTube channel. In their testimonials, each graduate speaks about the journey through addiction that brought them to the treatment center, as well as the parts of the program that were most effective for their personal needs.

Eric, who had been struggling with a heroin addiction when he realized that he needed help, tells the viewer about reconnecting with his spirituality, saying, “My favorite part was definitely the Faith-Based Track. I just loved it. I’m definitely going to continue that. I’m going to enroll in some Celebrate Recovery® classes and go to church.” He is speaking of one of the various spiritual programs, or “tracks” that A Forever Recovery offers to their patients. Other options include Holistic, Eastern Philosophies, and even traditional Native American Spirituality.

Matt was one of those rare cases that came to treatment after already being sober for quite some time. “I stopped drinking for 22 months,” he shares. “I was just staying away from all the alcohol. It was hard, so I did some research. I found AFR and I decided to give it a try. I’m glad I got here. I’ve worked out a lot of my issues.” He also speaks about the tremendous support that he got from the other patients at the rehabilitation facility, and how it helped him to open up to others.

The directors of A Forever Recovery designed their treatment program to encompass all people from all backgrounds, regardless of age, race, gender, or spiritual beliefs. With the various program options that they can choose from, their patients are encouraged to find the path to recovery that works best for them. They believe that, just as every person’s journey through addiction is different, every patient’s journey through rehabilitation will also be different. Even though the paths may not be identical, the goal of recovery from addiction is the same for everyone.
