Show features over 400 new model vehicles, luxury zone, ultra-high-end exotics, electric and alternative fuel vehicles, test drives and more

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) October 02, 2015

The 2016-Model Seattle International Auto Show drives into the CenturyLink Field Event Center with over 400 new model vehicles Thursday, October 8 through Sunday, October 11, 2015. The event center will be packed with all the auto industry has to offer including electric and alternative fuel vehicles, ultra-high-end exotics, luxury rides, test drives and more. From car buffs to casual enthusiasts, the Seattle International Auto Show offers something for everyone!

"Whether they want to save the planet, save money, or both, consumers now have more choices than ever when it comes to fuel-efficient and alternative fuel vehicles," Motor Trend Associate Editor Scott Evans says. "Fourteen years ago, there were only two hybrid cars on-sale in America. Today, there are nearly two-dozen, as well as more electric cars, alternative fuel cars and 40-mpg traditional cars on the road than at any other time in history."

This annual event offers consumers the chance to compare hundreds of new vehicles side by side, all under one roof. Attendees can sit in the driver’s seats, inspect engines, kick tires, count cup holders, check trunk space, test drive vehicles and take in that new car smell. From Audi to Toyota, dozens of new models will turn heads on the show floor including the Chevrolet Colorado (Motor Trend’s 2015 Truck of the Year), Ford F-150, Honda CR-V, Mercedes-Benz S550, Mazda CX-3 and more, as well as the latest alternative fuel options.

"We're living in the golden age of cars," added Evans. "We simultaneously have cars capable of more than 50 mpg, like the Prius, and cars with more than 700-hp, like the Dodge Charger Hellcat. There's something for everyone."

After checking out the new models in the displays, licensed drivers are invited to get behind the wheel and test drive over 75 new vehicles from Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Ford, Jeep, Kia, Lincoln, Nissan, Ram, Scion, Subaru, and Toyota on the streets around CenturyLink Field Event Center, Friday through Sunday (hours of operation vary, see website for details).

The Luxury Zone features a multi-million dollar display of current vehicles from Acura, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Buick, Cadillac, Ferrari, Infiniti, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, smart, Tesla and Volvo. The duPont REGISTRY™ LIVE showcase features the ultimate in extravagance with a stunning collection of unique, rarely seen luxury and exotic vehicles, including the 2014 Aston Martin James Bond Spy Car used in “Die Another Day” (one of only 50 replicas made and with just 46 miles on the odometer), and three Lamborghinis from three different decades—1983, 1992 and 2013.

LeMay – America’s Car Museum, will have six immaculate vehicles on display —including a 1930 Packard Eight, a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible and a1967 Ford Shelby GT500 —and a pop-up store with accessories, toys and home accents.

Showgoers are invited to post a photo with their favorite car(s) at the auto show for the chance to win a gift card in the “What’s Your Dream Ride?” Sweepstakes! Photos posted to Facebook, Twitter or Instagam with the hashtag #SeattleAutoShow will be entered for a chance to win! A $100 gift card will be given away each day of the show (no purchase necessary – see website for rules).
