The Mile High Middle School robotics teams are hosting a VEX Robotics Competition on January 16. The competition, presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, is the ultimate STEM activity for middle school and high school students (ages 11-18) and provides students with a hands-on, co-curricular competition for learning about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Middle and high school teams from all over Arizona will be coming to Prescott to compete. Families and community members are invited to come and watch the fun and excitement. It will certainly be an event not to miss! With competitive robotics growing so rapidly in Prescott and the entire state, it is a very exciting time to watch STEM/STEAM, as well as engineering and design, really take hold in education. It can be truly inspiring to watch.
