I’ve been adding events to my calendar like it’s my job, searching high and low for everything outstanding I can include. Like did you know tomorrow is National Donut Day? There’s your excuse for a quick stop by Strange or Worlds Fair tomorrow morning. Your welcome.

National Donut Day!
Strange Donuts, Kaldi’s Coffee, 4 Hands Brewing Co. and Feast Magazine are bringing you food and fun for National Donut Day 2015. $10 admission gets you donuts from Strange Donuts (St. Louis), Union Square Donuts (Boston) and District Donuts (New Orleans). Live music from DJs Billy Brown and Drace, plus a special acoustic performance by Story of the Year. Iced coffee from Kaldi’s, beers from 4 Hands Brewing Co. and food from Mission Taco Joint and Sugarfire Smokehouse available for purchase.
Suson Farm Fridays
We did this last month and it was a BLAST!! Take a barn tour, a hayride through the park, get your face painted, ride a pony, go fishing with the park rangers, and play on an awesome playground. Get tickets on site, from 10am to 1pm, admission is $10 at the booth next to the barn yard. Adults are free. Park programs are designed for kids of all abilities. Say hit to the baby pigs for us!
Members-Only Preview of McDonnell Polar Bear Point
Are you a zoo member? Then head over to the zoo tomorrow during regular hours (8am – 7pm) and flash your membership card for a pass to see the new exhibit one whole day before it opens to the public! Beat the crowds and feel kind of special doing it.

Grab the family and head to Fair U. City for carnival rides, live entertainment and plenty of good eats. Circus Flora
This is the BEST summer show in St. Louis! See it at 1pm or 7pm this day. See if you aren’t biting your nails when the tightrope walkers start doing their thing. And the trapeze? OMG it’s all amazing. Just go. Check out the website for tickets and more showtimes, there’s a time and day to meet everyone’s nap schedules.
Jungle Boogie at the Zoo
Bring the whole family for a free concert in the center of the Zoo from 5pm to 8pm! This week’s performer is My Friend Mike. Admission is free. Zoo is open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Animal-related kids activities will focus on conservation of endangered species through the Zoo’s WildCare Institute.
Kimmswick Strawberry Festival
During the 1st weekend in June, Kimmswick is overflowing with strawberries. Craft and food vendors line the streets as live entertainers perform at several areas throughout town. There is even a area filled with rides for the kids. This is a great event for the whole family to enjoy and help kick-off the Kimmswick Festival Season.
Lafayette Square House Tour
Tour historic Victorian homes…including one under renovation. Take the tour and stay for vintage baseball games, the grand opening of Clementine’s Naughty & Nice Creamery, an open house at Forrest Gallery, unique restaurants & two food trucks, antique fair, newly renovated Kern Pavilion (“Boathouse”), and a free Saturday evening concert.
Feast in the Park

St. Louis Science Center Members -Only Night
Members are able to experience the summer exhibition Alien Worlds and Androids for free, and see the new Omnimax film ROBOTS, without vouchers or Points. Entry times for the exhibition will be every half hour from 6pm to 8pm. ROBOTS will show in the Omnimax Theater at 6:30pm and 8pm. Have you checked out the newest marketing in STL? The swap meet is open every Sunday until mid November with over 150 vendor spaces at the historic Lemp Brewery in Marine Ville, located at the corner of Lemp Ave and Cherokee Street. Browse the market then head over to Cherokee to walk through antique shops and grab lunch. Sounds like a perfect Sunday to me! Doors open at 9:30 am and Close at 3pm.

This list doesn’t even include all the amazing things you can do EVERY weekend in St. Louis like the Missouri Botanical Garden, Zoo, Faust Park, Shaw Nature Reserve, Six Flags, The Arch, Citygarden, Soulard Market, Magic House, not to mention the dozens of fantastic parks and playgrounds peppered throughout the city.
