Four brand new homes are being built on the edge of Jersey’s south east coast in Gorey.

The luxury properties have been built directly overlooking the Gorey Harbour and boast stunning un-interrupted coastal views. The properties are eagerly anticipated in Jersey as they promise to deliver a unique blend of laidback beachside living with a modern edge.

The beautiful beach and Gorey’s charming harbour-side restaurants are within minutes of the impressive properties, which feature cutting edge architecture and top craftsmanship.

The Les Residence development project will complete at the end of August, delivering four new spacious high specification luxury homes. House One has already been handed over to the client to be used as a show home; this property has been finished, decorated and dressed to an exceptionally high standard.

A spokesperson for Trinity Estates, site developers and owners, said:

“Les Residences offers four private residential homes within secure and serviced gardens, affording a once in a lifetime opportunity to own an exclusive piece of beautiful Jersey. It is all the flavour of living by the coast with the contemporary style and security of a world class development.”

The three storey houses have been built using traditional block construction with solid concrete floors giving good thermal and sound insulation. The exterior and landscaping has been undertaken using high quality, modern materials giving the properties a luxury feel. The structures are finished with painted render, glass balustrading, granite cladding and stainless steel hand rails.

The work is being completed by main contractors Hacquoil and Cook, working in cooperation with Page Architects and T & G Structural Engineers.

Speaking to Premier Construction, Dominic Willmott, commercial director at Hacquoil and Cook said:

“I think what Trinity Estates are selling is a way of life. The properties have stunning sea views and views across Gorey Harbour. The houses are predominantly south facing and get a lot of sun throughout the day. All four structures have large balconies off three principal rooms; they’re high end, top quality houses.”

The properties start at £3.25million to buy.

These luxury homes, are finished with handmade bespoke kitchens, top specification sanitary ware and tiles throughout, they also have a state of the art home automation/entertainment system built in, there has been no expense spared on the light fittings, these are fully adjustable and can be changed to reflect many different mood settings. The buildings have very large windows and doors some of which are curved, which flood the house with natural light even on a dull day.

Dominic from Hacquoil and Cook added:

“It was a good job for us; we’ve worked with the client before and were pleased to be involved once again. The luxury homes are a landmark project which people can see on their way into Gorey – from our point of view it’s a great advertisement of what we, as a company, can do. We’re really please to be involved with Les Residences.”

Houses Two and Three will be complete externally with the internal work complete to plaster finish and not fitted out; this is to give potential buyers the opportunity to choose their own tiling, kitchen and bathrooms and to add their own personal taste to the houses. Houses 1 and 4 will be completely finished units.

All of the houses are three storeys; house one, two and three are all based on the same floor plan while house four, the largest property, differs significantly. The ground floor plays home to a double garage, media room, storage cupboard, utility room and entrance cupboard. The first floor boasts large terraces on both properties, en-suite bedrooms, living rooms and kitchen/diners. Unit four holds a separate dining area.

The second floors of units one to three house a master bedroom with balcony, en suite and a large dressing room, as well as another en-suite bedroom with a balcony. Unit four has another terrace, an en-suite master bedroom with balcony and an en-suite second bedroom.

Concluding the interview, Dominic said:

“We were really pleased to be working on the project, Hacquoil and Cook have a good working relationship with the client as well as Page Architects, the engineers and the professional team overall. From our perspective, it’s a high profile project which we’re proud to be involved with.”
