With Soundgarden’s first album in 16 years being released this Tuesday, fans have been wondering when the Seattle grunge icons would be hitting the road. Alas, that wait is over.

The band’s Winter 2013 North American tour will include two-night engagements in New York City, Toronto, Chicago, San Francisco (Oakland), Los Angeles and, for the first time since the band reunited, in their hometown of Seattle. Fan Club pre-sales begin on Monday, Nov. 12 and tickets go on-sale to the public starting on Friday, Nov. 16.

Unlike the band’s 2011 reunion tour where they played large amphitheatres and arenas, Soundgarden will be playing intimate mid-sized theatres.
