This is HaCha ep 15 review.
Firstly, Happy Mother's Day!
Supposedly, we should not see Mother's Day this ep, because of my calculation of HaCha calendar.
I post it once more for those who didn't read that comment last week:
Ep 1-2: 28th March
Ep 3: 29th-30th March
Ep 4:1st April, as Japan first day of school (reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_day_of_school)
Ep 7: 100 days after the first day they meet, and ep 8 is supposed to be the day for Double Seventh Festival (then the meaning of the legend makes sense...but I still feel the festival in that ep is redundant...), so the first day they meet is 28th March, and Ep 7 is 6th July.
Ep 8: 7th July
Ep 9-11: Mid-July
Ep 12: few days before summer holiday (the end of first term)
Ep 13: 20th July (may be)
Ep 14: Ocean day....may be....21st July
Ep 15: maybe...if we follow this timeline...12th August XD
and why I write 12th August for this ep if we follow this calendar? This is the reason:

12th August is Thailand Mother's Day from the information, but I need the native Thai to prove this. From wiki, it is also the Queen Sirikit's birthday. Therefore, Thailand Mother's day fits the storyline here-visit the Blue Sky Queen. (otherwise, we can't convince ourselves if we follow Japanese Mother's day...)
The writer of this ep is called Ooba Sayori. She had written scripts for My Melody Kurukuru Shuffle and Jewel Pet Kiradeco. Her style usually goes comical way, she can write the story very funny, but as her first attempt of Precure series, I think her style is not suitable for this series...It is because I can't see her eps is good so far. I don't know if the 100 days setting is her idea, but she is not very consistent, as in she forgot her timeline in ep 7. (because of this setting, it affects ep 8-ep 14 timeline) Her ep 12 scripts still can follow the timeline, but why this ep suddenly become like this? In addition, from my observation, her ep 7 and ep 12, which are derived from previous cure typical events (like the appearance of dual attack and ban to be Precure) are not well-written...I feel that her weakness of her writing is reasoning for the main story event. For example:
ep 7-
Main event: Precure power up, having dual attack
Reason: Quarrel, but the happening doesn't like a quarrel. Hime just wants to give a surprise to Megumi....
ep 12-
Main event: Arouse Megumi's interest on study by banning her Precure activity (like Nozomi)
Reason/progress: using baseball like balloon in PC5, but there is no effect to Megumi. The main reason is Megumi does not concern on her bad mark.
ep 15 (this ep)-
Main event: Meet her parents in Blue Sky Kingdom
Reason: using Mother's Day event.
The reasoning in this ep looks appropriate, but because of the timeline setting, it becomes inappropriate. Perhaps the main director/writer just gives the objectives to Ooba like...
ep 7: This ep Precure should build up their friendship and get the dual attack
ep 12: This ep should make Megumi know that study is as important as being Precure
ep 15: This ep should introduce Hime's background
...and then Ooba elaborate from the objective. For this ep, besides using Mother's day, she can just say that Hime has homesick, then the objective comes.
The showing of Mother's day is kind of ...bias...here because it just shows Megumi's and Seiji's family...we can't see any Mother's day event from Yuuko. As we know, the current Blue Sky become Mirage kingdom, the happening here is similar to DDPC ep 7, please see my DDPC ep 7 for details:

I think DDPC ep 7 is much better than this one for the similar situation, because DDPC can escape from the villain without using Precards and getting help from others. Thereupon, you can't blame them just playing around and not saving trapped Precure in other parts of the world because they can't even defeat the three cadres and Choiarks here (and there is a setting that Precure power is 1/100, I would like to see how Precure breakthrough in the last few eps of the series if the battlefield is Blue Sky). HaCha just got encouragement last ep, and this ep they are defeated again...next ep they meet Phantom...can't win as well...
The surprise of this fight is using three form changes for Choiarks but in vain. Owing to the setting mentioned above...only Honey teleport is useful...
The story is supposed to be serious, but it becomes comical when they sneak into the palace...and the drawing...is distorted in another way...

Nice! Melody, esp the last kiss! The drawing is better than Rhythm! (at least I don't see DDPC style from her...)
The leader cures are almost all out...Black, Dream, Blossom, Melody, Happy and Heart, we only have Bloom and Peach left, but next ep is Cure Berry.
-Mother's day present
I don't know what your present to your mother for Mother's day are, but for Precure...
1. Megumi-cake!

3. Hime-cupcake!
My question is...why all cakes! no other things? I understand why Hime makes cake, but why Megumi and Mao make cakes?
About Hime, as her mother can't eat the cake, she just asks Yuuko and Megumi to eat all.
Megumi: then we take these cakes to Blue Sky and give them to Hime's mother.
Yuuko: Roger.
Hime: What?
Yuuko: we won't eat such cake, because they are for your mother.
Megumi: so we should deliver these to your mother.

They are not as smart as DDPC, so they need Precard (Ninja) to help them sneaking...
As for sneaking outfit...aren't they too outstanding...?Anyway, this suit enable them jump here and there..
including changing into bushes...
but the bushes can't completely cheat this Armour Saiark...
and our Megumi is too clumsy that she breaks the "magic".
