Currencies Available in the Application
Introduction
Our application can support paid search spend and revenue capture in multiple currencies. The currency conversion rates used can be based on spot rates that our application fetches daily or uploaded by the user. These currency rates are used for any currency conversion that is required: spend, keyword/group bid, min bid, etc.
Our approach to currencies
Using daily spot rates fetched by the application
Our application automatically downloads currency conversion rates for over 130 currencies every day. If you wish to use these rates, no setup is required.
Uploading currency conversion rates
If you wish to upload specific currency conversion rates, you can do so via the Admin > Revenue > Upload Currency Rates page. This page allows you to upload currency rates from the client currency. The upload format requires 3 columns:
Date: date the currency conversion rate is applicable
Target_Currency: 3 letter ISO currency code of target currency
Rate: currency conversion rate of 1 unit of the client currency in the target currency
Notes
Uploaded currency conversion rates remain in use until new values are uploaded
Once you upload currency conversion rates, the application will no longer use the daily fetched spot rates
If revenue is captured in a currency whose conversion rate was never uploaded, the application will use the daily spot rate for that currency
Viewing currency conversion rates
Viewing your account’s currency setting & currency conversion rates
You can always view the current and historical currency conversion rates by either:
Navigating to Admin > Clients, then drilling into your client and clicking the Conversion Rates link.
Navigating to Admin > Revenue > Upload Currency Rates page, then clicking the Current and historical rates link
The table below shows currency conversion rates from the client currency to various target currencies.
