HSE Manager

Responsibilities:

·Responsible for the supervision and coordination of all activities related to HSE matters in compliance with local and international HSE policies.

·Promoting HSE in the project and proposing HSE objectives to the Project.

·Defining and reviewing HSE management systems.

·To plan and implement annually HSE management program.

·Developing the Safety Concept; supporting and enforcing the Company Group Ethics and Code of Conduct policy and is also responsible for ensuring liaison for Security matters within the Project.

·To be responsible for ensuring all external and internal Incident and performance reporting requirements are fulfilled.

·To monitor performance of HSE and communicate monthly performance report to VP for manufacturing and Regional HSE Management.

·To lead or take a key role in supporting line management in incident and accident investigations.

·To devise and implement strategies and programmed to develop a safer culture where all employees are fully engaged in pro-active incident prevention activities and behaviors are a key focus area.

·To interface directly with clients on all HSE matters when required.

Requirements:

·Minimum a master Qualification in a relevant field (Science/Engineering/HSE Management).

·Minimum 10 years experienced in HSE field.

·Registered with the local Department Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia.

·Must be a Green Book certified.

Process Engineer - Senior

Responsibilities:

·To perform and check Process Engineer activities in accordance with Company and Project requirements under the supervision of a Senior or Principal Engineer.

·To be fully aware of all Company Procedures and Guidelines.

·To participate in the development of the Department capabilities and knowledge.

·To report all HSE concerns and /or deviances to the Head of Department.

·To maintain a full and complete understanding of all tasks undertaken.

·Perform function of Lead Process Engineer on small to medium projects.

·Perform and check Process calculations of mooring, topsides,and where appropriate marine systems associated with floating production systems.

·Prepare and check Process Simulation models using the Company standard Process Simulation software.

·Check Process drawings (PFDs, UFDs,P&IDs,Safeguarding,etc.)as produces by the Process Engineer.

·Check Process Data Sheets and Lists as produced by the Process Engineer.

·Perform and check Process studies as required by the project an as instructed by the Lead Process Engineer.

·Prepare formal responses to comments from clients and Classification Societies made on relevant Process documentation.

·Prepare and submit technical papers for presentation internally within the SBM group and/or to industry or professional conferences.

·Participate in the start-up of new facilities.

·Follow all Standing Instructions, Department Working Instructions and Drawing Office Procedures relevant to the Process discipline.

·Follow all the Quality Assurance procedures relevant to the tasks being performed.

·Perform all activities in conformance with all applicable and relevant legislation standards and codes.

·Participate in HAZOP and other Safety reviews as directed by the Lead Process Engineer.

·Attend and contribute to project meetings.

·Provide input to the Department Knowledge and Tools Databases.

·Attend training courses (internal and external) as mutually agreed with the mentor.

Qualifications:

·Possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering.

·08 Years minimum experience in Offshore Oil & Gas industry.

·3 years minimum experience in FPSO.

·Experience of Equipment Sizing and Equipment Design.

·Experience of Process Safeguarding

·Experience of P&ID Development

·Experience in multinational environment is an added advantage.

·Self-motivated with strong Analytical,Planning,Reporting and Organization skills.

·Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines at all times.

Process Engineer – Principal

Job Descriptions:

·  The candidate should have minimum 3 years design experience as Lead Process Engineer in major EPC jobs of offshore process and/or well head platforms in reputed engineering organization.

·   Responsible for all process activities and deliverables of the project.

·   Monitor changes in scope and raise change notifications.

·  Review scope of work, attend kick-off meeting and highlight any major concerns at the outset of the project by apprising the Project Engineering Manager. Take appropriate initiatives to address the issues.

· To participate in the development of the Department capabilities and knowledge.

· Provides technical direction over a group and is responsible for employee performance appraisals and for coaching and developing lower level professionals.

·  Check Process drawings (PFDs, UFDs, P&IDs, Safeguarding, etc.) as produced by the Process Engineers.

· Manage the Department Tools Database. This will involve ensuring that all necessary tools are available, managing the development of new tools (e.g. spreadsheet and instruction manual) and validating new tools that are developed.

·  Participate in HAZOP and other Safety reviews as Chairman.

·  Attend training courses (internal and external as mutually agreed with the Head of Department.

Qualifications:

·  Possess at least a Degree in Chemical Engineering.

·  Minimum 15 years of experienced in Offshore Oil and Gas Industry.

·  Minimum 3 years of experience in FPSO.

· Experienced as a Lead Process Engineer on EPC projects will be an added advantage.

·  Experienced in multinational environment is an added advantage.

·  Fluent in English both written and spoken.

Process Safety Engineer – Lead/Principal

Job Description:-

·This position is responsible for supporting the process safety requirements within the department

·Experienced in the design and operations of offshore Oil & Gas production and processing facilities.

·This position will be providing expertise in the areas of loss prevention and process safety to ensure that HSE risks are understood and managed.

·The role involved in preparing design deliverables as required by the project. These desihn deliverables will include Hazardous Area drawings,Firezone drawings,Escape Route drawings,Safety P&ID’s and PFD’s,Firewater Calculation reports.etc.

·Increase the facility staff understanding of process safety through provision of training, coaching and mentoring.

·Ensure that the facility design intent and associated layers of protection are understood by operations staff.

·Support regulatory compliance activities related to process safety (e.g. PSM, SEMS, API  RP 14C, etc.).

·Perform in-house safety studies as required by the project. These studies may include Fire Consequence Analysis, QRA ,Blast, Dispersion, etc.

·Perform surge analysis on offloading hoses using Flowmaster Software.

·Perform concept and detailed design of the Firewater systems.

·Provide technical inputs to Design Safety Cases and Formal Safety Assessment (FSA) studies performed by the Safety Consultant.

·Develop Reliability, Availability, Maintenance (RAM) studies using fault tree analysis software.

Qualifications:-

·Possess at least a Degree in Chemical Engineering.

·Minimum 8 years experience in offshore Oil & Gas Industry.

·Experienced in FPSO will be an added advantage.

·Proficient in Flowmaster Software, Surge Analysis Software and Tree Analysis Software.\

·Fluent in English both written and spoken.

Process Safety Engineer

Job Descriptions:

·  To undertake risk & safety related projects as required by the company workload.
Specific Accountabilities:

SIL, HAZOP and HAZID scribing and report writing.
Development of engineering studies in the areas of risk, safety and loss prevention.
Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality.

·  Identifies risks associated with own work and reports to Team Leader/Lead Engineer as necessary.

·  Commissioning and reviewing process safety engineering deliverables from engineering contractors and suppliers.

·  Maintaining knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations relevant to process systems and process safety.

Knowledge of consequence assessment of fire and explosion, preferably involving use of QRA.

·   Emergency Escape Evacuation and Rescue (EER) Studies and implementation of different EER means in engineering design.

·  Procurement of various fire fighting and life saving equipment – specifications, requisitions, technical bid evaluation reports, review of vendor documents, inspection.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Petrochemical or Safety Engineering or equivalent.

·  5 years experience in Safety engineering design in the Oil & Gas, Refineries, Chemical, Petrochemical or related industries.

·   Site experience in hydrocarbon process plants.

·  Familiar with Safety Engineering Tools, e.g. PHAST, SAFETI, FRED, PIPENET, HAZOP tools; PHA Works,   LIHOU, EQE, DNV

·  Conversant with international codes and standards used in Environment and Safety Engineering e.g., NFPA, IP, API, CAP, SOLAS, ISO, OSHA, UKOOA, UL.
