The Potholes Podcast series is back off hiatus. The good folks from The Music Snobs podcast put together a fantastic mix of British Soul from the likes of Jai Paul, Amy Winehouse, SBTRKT, Jessie Ware, James Blake and many more in their hour long mix.

The Music Snobs have one of the best music podcasts on the internet. With every episode Scoop, Isaac, Jehan, and Arthur discuss, debate, and deconstruct the music and musicians who both fascinate and frustrate them. And instead of just dissecting current albums, pop trends or being hip-hop centric, they really critique both old and new music from a number of interesting perspectives.

Some of my favorite episodes include episode 014 with special guest Erykah Badu, episode 028 on Michael Jackson’s music and legacy, and episode 017 on the Odd Future collective. On their most recent episode they discuss Lana Del Rey’s latest studio album Ultraviolence, her success and critical acclaim and whether it’s warranted or simply manufactured.

After a few episodes of TMS you’ll be hooked like I am. They release new podcast episodes once a month and you can subscribe to them on iTunes and Soundcloud. You can also follow them on Facebook and Twitter.
