This is an amazingly friendly and party-like guild that started out as an underdog guild, to a widely seen guild.  All pirates have at least encountered a member of this guild once.  This guild has an amazing long and action acked history full of many good times and bad times.

Even though the original post said "founded by Bill Goldhawk" and "created June 8th 2012" and "members 268", all these so called "facts" are FALSE!  It was founded by "Rachel Stormrose", created March 7th 2009, and there are currently 394 members.  I don't know who put them in or why they are wrong, but they are.  I will tell you the FULL and 100% true story.  And you may ask why I know the true story and why I know these facts are wrong, its because this is my guild!  I am BIlly Goldhawk.  Now, here is the history of my beloved guild.

(2009)  It all started on the 7th of March, 2009.  I was getting really close with a girl whose name was Rachel Stormrose.  She was a very bright girl with teh sunshine in her eyes.  Anyways, She started a guild called Victorious of Sea.  It was just meant for her and myself to stay closely connected to eachother.  We were both very similiar Rachel and I.  I was a lvl 14 and she was a lvl 12.  Our levels weren't too far apart, but we both had one huge difference; she had unlimited access and I didn't.  So, we had our guild for about a month and she was advanceing over me fast.  She became a lvl 16 not after too much time.  I could tell she really wished I had unlimited access, so we could advance together, but this is no explanation (I think) for what happened next.  One day when I started pirates, she was gone.  Of my friends list, off my players list, and out of the guild.  She had left me.

I was heartbroken.  Not only was she a good friend of mine, she was my VERY first close friend on pirates.  She left and for no reason too.  We never had fights, or anything that would have dampened our relationship or motivated her to leave.  I can only hypothosize it was because that I was a low-level and she was unlimited access.  The world will never know.  BUT, she was at least kind enough to leave me the guild.  So, I knew she still had a small place in her heart for me.  I would thank her if I ever saw her again.  Being a basic member, I was over excited with having been given a guild of my own to lead.  It was a new begining.  I did not know the challenges, the adventures and friends I would yet meet.  It was all too thrilling for me to think anything negative.  And that is how my guild began; but that was only the begining.

And so began my first year with my new guild.  From then until the closing of pirates, my guild lasted approximately 4.5 years.  Each year had its own saga and its own challenges.  Here is how my first year went.

+

(2009) The First year of my guild was probably the hardest time that my guild has ever gone through.  I call the first year of my guild "The Silent Age".  Even though the future challenges of the guild were much greater in the following years, it was still nothing compared to this first year.  The reason is because I was alone.  I was a basic member and alone in my guild.  It took a lot of time, carefull convincing, patience with others, and great kindness to get people to join.  I remember 3 names of very good pirates who helped me get through these tough starting years.  The First pirate to help me was Kate Wildeagle.  My friendship with her was like a match made in heaven (as far as JUST FRIENDS goes).  When I first met her, she wanted adventure, challenges, teamwork, notoriety, but most of all, she wanted a friend.  Ever since then we have been very close.  Not close as in "like like" but just friends.  An easy way of describing our friendship is like a brother and sister.  Even though we were the closest friends ever on pirates, we ARGUED a LOT.  Just like real brothers and sisters.   It didn't take long before I promoted her to officer.  Kate is a loyal friend.  BY FAR my most loyal friend ever in pirates online.  She was one of the few who stuck with me and stuck with me for the longest.  All the way until pirates closes in september 19th, 2013.  The other two pirates who helped me through this time were Meg Redbolt and Phantom Glowhorn.  They were very quiet, but very helpful.  They each added about 30 people a week (AT LEAST).  Unfortuneatley, almost more people during this time were leaving the guild instead of joining.  At least the numbers were increasing; slowly but surely.  By the end of the first year, the guild had about a hundred pirates in it.  The first year ended well.

(2010) The Second year of the guild was by far the worst and best year of the guild.  What I mean by that is that the challenges and consiquenses were very great, but the second half of the year had HUGE successes.  I call this second year of my guild "Changing Winds".  This second year started well, very well in fact.  We went from about 100 members, to 200 members in just one month alone!  Most of these new recruits were all coming from the same place, The "Sugar Rush" Guild.  DUN DUN DDDDUUUUUUUNNN!!  A lot of people were rebelling against sugar rush for being cruel, rude, unfair, and jsut plain down right weird.  This was the year that the sugar rush maxed out their guild, so the guildmaster and officers thought they could do anyhting they wanted.  Back then in 2010 Sugar Rush was a oligarchy!  The guild master was just as cruel as the officers (I am not speaking of ALL of their members, just a few of the highranks at the time including the guildmaster).  So after we recruited 100 people from Sugar Rush, Sugar Rush was furious!  They sent spies into MY guild.  At that time, my guild regulations were not very strict for entrance and especially not strict for promotion.  So whith in a week or two, I had at least 5 actuall sugar rush spy operatives as officers in my guild (scary, huh?).  Worst of all, pirates hadn't put in the restrictant that an officer can only remove 5 people from a guild a day yet, so that was bad!  Within a week, my 200 member guild, had become a 70 member guild.  And believe it or not, one of the sugar rush spies that became an officer in my guild (her name was Natalie) was a close friend of mine (so i thought).  I trusted her, and she was the one who insited I promote the other sugar rush spies to officers in my guild.  Luckily, of course my friends in the guild, were friended to me, so i could just add them back.  After that catastrophy, we STRIKED BACK!  We sent spies into their guild too.  We did some damage into their guild by corrupting lower ranking members thoughts, and by hearing their secret plans.  We did nothing as evil as they did to us (removing members of the guild).  Except for one of my operatives that took things to the extreme (meaning, he deleted members of their guild and disobeyed my orders).  Since his heart was in the right place, all I did was just demote him.  Many missions later... guess what?  We had an all out guild war on our hands!  They fought us, and we fought them.  After about 4 months (maybe 6 months), VIctorious of Sea's losess of members was just too great; we surrendered to the sugar rush guild.  So they declared victory over our guild and spread the news of how terrible our guild was to the rest of the caribbean.  We were furious, but had enough of them.  I kept one spy in their guild (as a veteran rank so they didn't get too suspicous of him) to just keep watch on their guilds plans, just in case if they plan something else tricky.

NOTE: Sugar Rush had one last scheme up their sleeves before the war ended.  In fact, they started this right when the war began.  The Sugar Rush guildmaster and officers never informed the rest of the guild about the war with the Victourous of Sea Guild.  This didn't do anyhting for them during the war, but after the war, it gave them some intresting advantages.  If we had an arguement or fight or just talk with sugar rush, they would deny everthing that happened with our guild and just call us koo koo.  The worst case scenario is they complain to game POTCO that Victorious of Sea is playing dirty; that would COMPLETLY destroy our guild.  And most of the Sugar Rush members weren't not telling the truth, they just simply didn't know.  75% of the sugar rush guild is just plain basic ranked members while 20% are veterans and 5% are officers.  But when you join their guild, you would think their whole guild is just made out of officers!  Why?  because ALL their officers are ALWAYS online.  So that can be deceptive.

The Second part of our guild's second year is known as the "restoration age".  Name is obvious eenough what happens.  About a month after our guild war with sugar rush, things started to calm down between our two guilds; but if we confronted them or bumped into them, they would stil call us bad names.  This was not too much of a bother.  The reason this last portion of the year was such a huge success, was because of one man Kate Wildeagle recruited; Gerard Calicoswine.  This man was the SAVIOR of our guild.  Not only did he add a hundred more members to our guild, he added an extra 200!  With the help of Gerard (he pretty much just did all the work), we had 400 members in a short time of 5 months.  A perfect thing to celebrate at christmas time, right?  How was he so good?  I will never know.  I will say though, he was once a unlimited access member, and was now a basic member with the notoriety of 49.  That might have something to do with all this.  Besides Gerard, I made a lot of new friends that year.  I met 4 more memorable people.  Phantomhorn Menace lvl 11 (Gerard's brother), Logan lvl 14 and Timothy  lvl 14 (both brothers), and Elizabeth Saileagle lvl 14.  Phantomhorn Menace was the guild clown, Logan was a great helper and always their to help me when i needed a tonic or something, and Elizabeth Saileagle (I call her Lizzy) and Timothy became very close freinds of mine.  All four of these pirates were helpful in the creation of this guild.  I met Elizabeth and Timothy around the same time.  Can't remember who was first.  Timothy was on everyday and on instead of 24/7 more like 14/7 which is still awesome.  He was won of the cooler nice sidekicks of mine LOL!  We were the ones who did all the fun stuff together.  From fighting in dark caves with hard bosses, to boarding navy ships alone just him and me, we went through it all.  He unfortuneatley after the Christmas of 2010, I never saw him again until the last month of pirates.  He is just lucky that I did not delete him from the guild after all that time!  Elizabeth was a great friend too.  She was a bit meloncholy, yet a natural leader and role model in my guild.  We alsom became extremely close friends (kind of like kate wildeagle).  We ate our at my home at driftwood a lot, and just hung out together and talked as we defeated crabs.  She always had the best advise for me and kept me in high spirits.  I am glad she stuck with me tell the end in 2013.

(2011) The Third year of Victorious of Sea Guild is known as the height of our guild's success and wealth; but also called our guild's "golden age".  For most of this year, we had a full guild of 505 members.  We had at LEAST 20 people online at once.  So this was defianantly a busy time for me.  It was a great year, thats for sure.  For about a week in the middle of june, our guild was one of the top ten guilds in teh caribbean!  It was only for a short week, but it was great to be VERY popular then.  I also met two more imporatnt friends;  Johnny Lockskull and Issabella Jane.  Johnny Lockskull was quite a character.  He was a loner too.  He was an almost EXACT twin of me.  He was a basic member, but he obviosly had unlimited access for a little while since we has a lvl 17.  He slept a lot, advetured a lot, and jsut hung out a for a while.  He never said much, but he seemed like a legendary explorer and role model to me.  He did not come online that much, but he had been a good friend of mine up tell the end.  I asked him to join the guild at least a dozen times (politely of course), but he just couldn't ever make up his mind.  Issabella Jane.  I have techniqually known her since August of 2010, but she really never became a great friend of mine unill 2011.  She was a high level at the time.  But unlike most high levels, she NEVER treated me like trash, even though I was about 15 levels beneath her.  She taught me the importance of good friendship and how gender, age, or notoriety level should not prevent anyone from being good friends.  She stuck with me tell the very end in 2013.  I asked her about 5 times a year if she wanted to join me guild, but she was happy with her own.  Even though she was in a different guild, she still helped our guild in more ways than you can imagine.  She advertised for our guild, she helped our guild sail, and she asked her friedns if they wanted to join my guild.  She is/was an angel and a pretty pirate.  She will always remain a good friend of mine.  This was a big party year for Victorious of Sea.  We celibrated all teh major holidays plus more!.

(2012) The Fourth year of our guild and the last FULL year of our guild.  This era was known as "The Great Depresion".  I can't say too much abou this era in time.  After Christmas of 2011, a rebelious officer of mine (named John Redmouth) wanted to be guild master of MY guild.  I said no to him, firmly but kindly enough.  He was furious and unfortuneatley had many friends in my guild.  He, and 300 others, left the guild and started won of their own, known as "Eagle Demons" guild.  I lost so many members in just about 3 weeks, it was tragic.  I wasn't online much of this year, but I came on at least once a week.  I, and the rest of my guild were frantically trying to get more people.  We got a few more, but not that many more.  This was a very quiet era in this guild.  Since this was such a quiet and dull and boring time in the guild, I decided to look for my long lost girl friend, Rachel Stormrose.  I looked her up in the Pirate dictionary to see what guild she was in and try to find her.  I at the very least just wanted to thank her for the wonderfull guild she gave me.  Unfortuneatley, even after seemingly asking every single person in pirates where she was, I never found her.  I never saw Rachel Stormrose again.

(2013) The last portion of pirates online and my guild.  For the first 7 months of this month, it really wasn't that different from that of the year 2012.  So it was pretty boring then.  But, in late August, when people found out pirates was closing, a lot of them came back online.  This was a thrilling time for me.  I had always wanted to be unlimited access.  So for this last month, I and many of my guild members and friends leveled up as much as we could together.  A few shockers.  Timothy, Logan, and Phantomhorn came back online after all these years!  It almost felt good like a family reunion!  But there were some people who I didn't get to see.  I have not seen Gerard since one year and a half ago, or Johnny Lockskull.  They never appeared in this month.  Elizabeth Saileagle I was lucky to be with for the past month.  What I really regret with my time I spent with her, I never took a picture of her.  And she wasn't with me on the last two days of pirates (when that photo I posted with this was taken).  So she missed the group photo.  Other than that, and not getting to see Rachel Stormrose ever again, it has been the best month of my pirate life.
