Langua.ly’s PR and communications intern will work for an international language learning startup at their headquarters in Tel Aviv’s Old North neighborhood. The intern will assist the marketing, communications and e-learning directors in tasks ranging from curriculum development to media monitoring and outreach.

The PR and communications role is extremely versatile. In addition to managing the company’s social media profiles, running PR campaigns and dealing with SEO, the intern will contribute to marketing, communications and e-learning strategies. The intern may also be asked to do research on how to reach a certain market, create new experiences and market them, create a strategic plan for specific aspects of our products and more.

The intern’s tasks and responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to:

-Understanding the Lingua.ly learning content index and improving its quality

-Developing new messaging and marketing material for global users

-Translating and honing communications outreach for target media

-Initiating and running social media sites and profiles

The ideal candidate is a talented writer, creative thinker, independent worker, and above all, a motivated learner who shares the team’s passion for language learning.

Qualifications:

-Native English speaker; proficiency in other languages a plus

-A keen interest in language learning

-A desire to learn, engage and grow

-Strong written and oral communication skills

-Excellent organization skills as well as self-motivation and discipline

-Experience using digital apps for language learning a plus

-Familiarity with education and/or technology-focused media and journals a plus

-Knowledge of social media marketing across platforms (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest)

-A sense of humor!
