A friend of mine calls me Cousin Oliver for my ability to be a TV Jinx.
To wit, every new show I fall in love with invariably falls to the bottom of the ratings pool (See also: Secret Circle, LA Complex.)
So I was disheartened to see that CBS' new dating show Three ranked pretty low in terms of ratings, because I thought it was intriguing, refreshing and downright entertaining.
Admittedly, I'm not completely objective. 2/3 of the cast is from Chicago, and April Francis, one of the three is the founder of Dose Market - a sort of outdoor amalgam of hipster garage sale and etsy shop. It's seriously the coolest monthly event on this side of Lake Michigan.
Still, not all of you have a geographical tie to the show, and yet many of you were just as enamored by April's tail hem shirt she wore to interview the fellas (and send a few of them packing.)
April promised the fashion only gets better - which is no surprise, April's a well-known stylist here in Chicago with her own business The Haute Closet.
So please tune into Three. Don't send this show packing before you've really gotten to know it.
