This is my yearly list of Portland area restaurants that are open Christmas Eve, or in some cases, Christmas Day. I’ve highlighted which one to make it easy to tell at a glance.
Barista Coffee -
Both the pearl and the Alberta Street branches will be open Christmas morning. I don’t have the exact hours, but am guessing they will close early.

Christmas Take-Out & Tamales at Mi Mero Mole!
While you can always order any of our guisados or tamales to-go or order ahead for large parties, this year we’re offering a variety of take-out items not on our regular menu, including:
Tamales: Chicken in mole or butternut squash in mole. $24 per dozen.
Mole Enchiladas: 9×13 inch pan of chicken or butternut squash enchiladas with mole and cheese. Just heat and serve. $15 per pan.
Chiles en Nogada: Roasted chiles stuffed with mixture of pork, nuts, candied fruit, pickled chiles, and olives topped with walnut cream sauce and pomegranate seeds. $7 per chile, minimum of 4 chiles.
Pies: Mexican-Spiced Chocolate Pudding, Apple & Dulce de Leche with Streusel, Horchata Rice Pudding Pie with Kahlua Caramel. $28 each.
Email us or call us (503.232.8226) after 3pm to place your order. All our tamales are gluten-free as is our mole. The mole does contain several nuts, including both peanuts and tree nuts. The butternut squash mole enchiladas and tamales are vegan. Chiles en nogada can be made vegetarian upon request with an 8 chile minimum.

Por Que No Holiday Tamales
We are now taking orders for Holiday Tamales! Just email KC at catering@porquenotacos and she will set you up with the details. Orders need to be in by the 18th of December, and they will be ready for pick-up on December 22nd & 23rd. Such an amazing way to throw a great holiday party and make the food easy.
There will be two types of tamales to choose from. Ground Pork with raisins, almonds and tomatillo salsa, and the veggie will be Roasted Poblanos with requeson and guajillo salsa.
