Sweden celebrated its crown princess's 36th birthday yesterday with Victoria Day celebrations. Princess Victoria was joined by her husband, Prince Daniel, and 1-year-old daughter and heir, Princess Estelle, when the trio greeted well-wishers gathered at Solliden Castle. Victoria's parents also joined in the fun, and her father, King Carl XVI Gustaf, led the crowd in a happy-birthday song for his daughter. Later, the royal crew dressed in traditional costumes to enjoy a concert in Victoria's honor. Her very handsome brother, Prince Carl Philip, and newlywed sister, Princess Madeleine, also were on hand.
Princess Victoria is first in line to Sweden's throne. She is expected to succeed her father after her country's laws were changed in 1980 to allow the firstborn child of the monarch to succeed, regardless of gender. She would be the country's first queen regnant since 1720 and the fourth ever. See photos of Victoria Day and adorable baby Princess Estelle, who stole the show, now!
