Prince William was back to his royal work today when he made an appearance at the Anglesey Agriculture Show in Wales. The stop marked William's first official royal engagement since the birth of his son, Prince George, on July 22, although he returned to his other job as a RAF search and rescue pilot on the island last week. The royal inspected animals, including an impressive hawk and a handsome horse, and addressed the crowd in the Welsh language. William also took a moment to talk about his new baby, joking that he is "very loud and extremely good-looking." He added that he and Kate "look forward to returning to [Anglesey] again and again" with Prince George. Kate is reportedly staying with her parents in Bucklebury while William is away at work in Wales. The Duchess of Cambridge and her little prince are expected to stay there until work is completed on her and Prince William's new apartments in Kensington Palace.

While William appeared happy to chat about George, he did not publicly comment on reports that he and Kate may reveal the first official photos of the new prince over social media. Traditionally, high-ranking royals like Prince George would have their portraits taken by official photographers, but since Kate is such an avid snapper herself, the couple might be considering taking their own photos to post on the palace's official Twitter accounts. Either way, George will have official photos taken during his christening, which is expected to take place in the Fall.
