Most television series have made announcements regarding their status for the 2016-2017 season. Shows based on comic book properties look to continue to draw strong numbers as The Walking Dead, Arrow, The Flash, iZombie, The Strain, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Gotham, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are all set to return next season. The only titles absent, Supergirl and Lucifer, have yet to officially make an announcement. Looking at CBS’ ratings for the superheroine looks like a sophomore season is likely. Lucifer looks to be a contender as well.
Netflix original programming also looks to continue their hot properties such as Narcos, Orange is the New Black, House of Cards, and Fuller House. Sadly, long running series Person of Interest, The Good Wife, and Mike & Molly will all be shelved after the current season.
