I'm making a MLP fanfiction, and I want everypony's opinion on it. I'll post more chapters as I come up with them. Ahem, anyways... Here goes...
It was a dark, cloudy day in Equestria. Rainbow Dash, a light blue pony with a rainbow colored mane and tail, was overseeing the storm, making sure it went according to plan. The pegasi had been planning this storm for days.
What she didn’t count on was to see a dark blue alicorn with a blue and yellow mane and tail flying around, trying to avoid the lightning. Rainbow Dash began flying over, intending to tell the pony off on how she shouldn’t be flying around during one of the storms. That is, until the pony got struck by lightning. Rainbow Dash gasped, then zoomed towards the now falling pony, just managing to slow her fall towards the ground.
The pony didn’t land too hard, on account of the mud, but her landing sent mud flying everywhere, including on Rainbow. Rainbow Dash whistled, cueing the other pegasi to stop the storm. Besides, I think we have enough rain now, she thought. As soon as the sky was cleared, other ponies came out of their homes to enjoy the sunshine. Soon, a crowd gathered around the passed out pony and Rainbow, who was trying to wake her up.
When she didn’t wake up, Rainbow, taking charge of the situation, instructed the unicorns to use their magic to move her to Twilight’s house. Twilight will know what to do… Rainbow thought, as she led the way.
As they approached Twilight’s library tree castle, Twilight, having looked outside and seen the commotion, opened the front door, quickly inviting Rainbow, the strange mare, and the unicorns carrying her, inside.
Twilight used her magic to hand Rainbow Dash a towel so she could wipe the mud off. While she was cleaning herself, Rainbow told Twilight exactly what had happened. Seeming worried, Twilight began looking through her library, trying to find a way to wake the strange mare up. Finally finding a book, Twilight began flipping through pages.
Twilight found a promising spell, and following the instructions, began powering up her magic. Taking a deep breath, Twilight pointed her horn at the mare and shot the magic to her. Everything grew bright, and all of the ponies had to shield their eyes from the light. When the light faded, The mare was struggling onto her feet, a confused look on her face.
“W-where am I?” she asked, in an almost commanding voice, though it was more questioning than anything. “You’re in my home in Ponyville. I’m Twilight Sparkle, and this is my friend Rainbow Dash. From what she told me, you were hit by lightning during this evenings scheduled storm when you were flying.” Twilight said, relaying what Rainbow had told her.
The mare shook her head. “I… Don’t remember flying. Or anything, for that matter. Well, besides waking up here, and my name. At least, I think it’s my name…” The mare sounded unsure, and seemed unsteady on her hooves. She had golden eyes, and ears that seemed to be made of blue fire. She was as tall as Princess Celestia, and had black hooves.
“What do you think your name is?” Twilight asked curiously. The mare watched the ponies around her, still unsure of them. “North Star.” She said quietly.
“Well, North Star, you’re welcome to stay here until you’re better.” Twilight said, smiling at the mare. North Star smiled and dipped her head. “Thank you.” She said, sounding nearly as quiet as Flutter Shy. All of a sudden, her legs gave out. The unicorns quickly used their magic to hold her up, and then followed Twilight’s instructions to put her into one of the guest bedrooms. North Star seemed exhausted, and fell asleep almost immediately after being put down.
After the unicorns left, Twilight sent Rainbow to find the rest of their friends. Not ten minutes later, Rarity, Applejack, Flutter shy, a very hyper Pinkie Pie, and Spike, were all gathered in one of the rooms in the bottom level of the building.
“Do you really think so? But then what was she doing flying around in a storm?” Rarity asked. “I don’t know. But if that is true, we should tell Princess Celestia and Princess Luna about it.” Twilight said. Applejack nodded. “But first, I say we should let her recuperate.” Applejack said. The others nodded their heads in agreement, and then dispersed.
