What: Every party-goer worth their stripes here has
spent at least one New Year's Eve at iconic nightclub Zouk. This
year, party to high-energy dance anthems by Dutch progressive house
DJ Quintino in the club's sci-fi-meets-fantasy bash. Quintino, a
familiar face on the international dance music scene, will be
supported by Zouk resident DJ Hong. Gear up for an epic countdown
with plenty of confetti.

SENTOSA SILOSO BEACH PARTY 2014
What: If beach parties are your thing, head down to
Siloso Beach for a dusk-till-dawn celebration across several five
locations along the strip: Azzura, Mambo Beach Club, Wave House
Sentosa, Coastes, Bikini Bar and Sand Bar.
Now in its eighth year, around 20,000 party-goers are expected at
this beach shindig.
At the main stage, the likes of Swiss DJ-producer Mike Candys, and
Singapore's own Tinc and Funky T spin trance, electrohouse and
progressive house tunes. Chill by the poolside with DJs Ollie'des,
Jensen and Jenni-F, or get wild at a foam party with your
friends.

MARINA BAY SINGAPORE COUNTDOWN 2015

What: Anchoring the countdown activities around the
bay is the official countdown presented by the Urban Redevelopment
Authority and Esplanade, Theatres on the Bay. Keeping with
tradition, around 25,000 red and white "wishing spheres" will be
set afloat in Marina Bay, bearing the hopes and aspirations of
Singaporeans.
To celebrate the start of the country's golden jubilee, there will
be an eight-minute fireworks display choreographed to a score
composed by Singapore's Julian Wong and Riduan Zalani. A special
segment of the music will feature close to 400 drummers, performing
at the lower boardwalk in front of the Marina Bay Sands Event
Plaza.

MEDIACORP PRESENTS: CELEBRATE SG50
South Korean group BigBang will be performing at The Float @ Marina

What: Marking the start of 2015, and Singapore's 50th
year of independence, this seven-hour extravaganza showcases the
best of local pop culture in the past half-century.
More than 60 local artists, including Rahimah Rahim, Stefanie Sun,
Dick Lee, Kit Chan, indie band The Sam Willows and Singapore Idol
winner Sezairi Sezali, will perform. Watch out, too, for
spectacular guest spots by famed Korean boy band Big Bang and
Malaysian songbird Dato Siti Nurhaliza.
As always, this party gives you unrestricted view of the fireworks
at the stroke of midnight.

What: Dance the night away with seven hours of
non-stop entertainment.
From noon, a flea market and carnival activities sets the mood for
night-time revelry later.
Then, from 6.30pm, high-energy EDM DJ sets from Germany's DJ Ronski
Speed and Thailand's DJ Lisa Bluestar, and Singapore model-DJ
Nicole Chen take centre stage. Joining the party line-up is
singer-songwriter Nic Lee from pop-rock group Mi Lu Bing,
rapper-host Sheikh Haikel and a capella group Juz B, performing hit
songs.

THE PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA PRESENTS NEW YEAR'S EVE GALA CONCERT
2015
What: The orchestra will perform eight classical pieces, including
John Williams' score for the film Schindler's List (1993), before
counting down the final minutes to midnight with the epic climax
from the fourth movement of Ottorino Respighi's Pines Of Rome.
Balloons and confetti will be released as the clock strikes 12, and
both the orchestra and audience will cap the evening by singing
Auld Lang Syne.

REAWAKENING @ GOING OM
What: If you had a less than stellar year and want a
blank slate in 2015, chill cafe-bar Going OM is offering an
emotional cleanse. Patrons are invited to come with an unwanted
item, which will be burned as a symbol of releasing undesirable
thoughts or memories, in exchange for a small crystal.
Alternatively, renew the energy of an item you value by taking it
there for a Tibetan singing bowl ritual.
Home-grown buskers Fairuz Rahim and Ridhwan will perform separate
sets, to add to the laidback atmosphere.
