Expulsion of Moors from Spain: A Forgotten Human Tragedy (Part II) | Morocco World News

In 1492 Moors were expelled from Spain after a war that went on for decades.

Since then Europe was basically a "Christian" continent where the development of Culture, Democracy, Liberal though has flourished through many challenges and wars.

Over the last 70 years there has been a significant immigration into Europe from many of the old European Colonial states across the world, Morocco into Spain, Algeria, Tunisis and West Africa into France, Indonesia into Netherland, South East Asia and Somaliland into UK.

As this goes on clearly it has impacted heavily in many countrys where the "Ghettoisation" is claimed as areas have become majority of Muslim immigrants.

The counter to this has been that while many Rightwing partys have gained support across Europe but as of yet have not coalesced under single vision or under a single leader, even Pegida is quite limited.

Speaking with friends over last couple of weeks, post UK Brexit vote, a selection of points made that while nobody was believing it would happen in this generation, the view was next generation circa 25 years plus it was a possibility.

What was surprising was the mix was circa 50-50 British - Non British but the view was similar.

So could Europe to use the 1492 term "Expel the Moors" i.e. Muskims in next generation.

While I personally believe it is unrealistic view of the future I also believe there is a 30% chance of it coming through were Economic circumstance to change that dramatically.
