For decades now Irish Politicians who aspired to run our little State had it comparatively easy. The neighbouring Nations few of whom spoke English could be easily undercut in terms of corporate tax rates to attract Foreign Investment to drive an export industry based on intensively adding value to the product. They were prepared to indulge their Irish Neighbour as our Politicians made the rounds with the National Begging Bowl.

Hordes of voters could be manipulated with nationalist aspirations of acquiring more territory from the old enemy. The surplus population that was not required for the public sector, or that was of no use to the FDI sector could be exported in droves in a form of exile to the land of the auld enemy as economic refugees.

A lick of green paint for post boxes, and a sprinkling of a dead language, unintelligible to 95% of the population, were the visible indicators of our independence.

The problem for our Politicians is that the Brits will now take away the tools, used by the part of the UK, that seceded to gain economic advantage Those tools only work if the Brits don't use them too. For the UK low corporate tax is a way of regaining advantage, and of starving the beast of regional nationalism in the UK.

No longer will the Empire allow regions to secede and float low tax rates.

Post Brexit the Irish advantage of the low Corporation Tax will evaporate. The British will be anxious to stop importing workers and to get their own under employed on their bikes to Norman Tebitt's delight, to fill gaps in their labour market.

After Brexit the Aspiring Irish Politicians who aspire to the administration of the State, while they loot it sideways by devices such as shifty zoning, induced property booms and crashes, soft loans from our banks, tax evasion, digouts etc.

will find it, much more difficult to appease the Peasants.

The Irish Equivalent of Bread and Circuses, GAA, Religion, and lately Gaelscoileanna, will diminish when less money is in circulation. Until recently a certificate was required from what is essentially a Witchdoctor to confirm a ritual has been performed, on a Child, in order to place that Child in a functional school.

Our most important Peasants Irelands 108,000 farmers (who tend to consider those without land their inferior) are in for a very rough time. They will be sent back in terms of prosperity to the1930's, a time when the Bullock's value diminished form £30 to just £10 because of imposed tariffs.

The property market the fillet of which commands rents of €45 a square foot ( and yield to value rates of 20/1) for prime office space in Dublin, will collapse again, undermining our banking sector, all because our artificial advantage on tax rates will evaporate post Brexit. Property is over valued because people cannot afford property, in the Bubble Republic.

The clever Politicians and Bankers are already trying to sell their property portfolios, while desperately predicting Famine in the UK.
