President Barack Obama is used to being demonized.
But at a North Carolina rally Tuesday, the president offered up some hot fire of his own in response to typically incredible claims from conspiracy theorist and Info Wars host Alex Jones that Obama and Hillary Clinton were “demons” that “both smell like sulfur.”
“I was reading the other day. There’s a guy on the radio who apparently,” Obama said, “he said me and Hillary are demons, said we smell like sulfur. Ain’t that something?”
Obama then hunched over, took a big whiff of his wrist and tried his best to detect any sulfur residue, before telling the crowd know how he really felt about the theory.
“Now, I mean, come on, people!” Obama exclaimed.
Jones, a 9/11 "truther" who believes the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre was “totally fake with actors,” has repeatedly hosted Republican nominee Donald Trump on his show. Trump has previously lavished Jones with praise, telling him, “Your reputation is amazing.”
