Job Overview:

We are looking for talented individuals to build our presence in Austin, TX. This will require you to build and manage your own accounts within the territory. The ideal candidate will have restaurant experience, sales experience, a passion for technology, and a broad network of contacts within the Austin restaurant community.

Responsibilities:

Create lasting relationships with customers in the restaurant and bar industry. Understand operators’ needs and challenges, and discuss consultative solutions that impact the bottom line of each restaurant. Prepare detailed proposals of those solutions that include hardware, software, and services. Work with other team members in Installation and Customer Support teams to deliver an optimal experience for the customer. Manage your sales pipeline in the company CRM system. Prepare sales reports showing opportunities, successes and challenges in your territory. Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition. You will be expected to be “on the streets” in the Austin area, and domestic travel may be required (trade shows for example).

Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years experience in the hospitality/restaurant/bar industry, management experience preferred.

Experience using multiple point of sale (POS) systems.

Demonstrated sales skills.

Experience in foodservice sales or liquor sales a plus.

Must be a self-starter, able to work independently while driving results.

Ability to work proficiently in office applications (spreadsheet, word processing, presentations) and CRM applications.

Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and have the ability and desire to travel locally (in the Austin area) 90% of the time, with occasional out of town travel.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and may occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to .

Compensation:

Base salary depending on experience.

Commissions on sales.
