Columbia Hospitality is currently seeking a Full-Time + an On-Call Prep Cook (Cook 3) to join their culinary team!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Utilizes specification sheets to prepare daily food requirements, maintains par levels of sauces, stocks, etc.

2) Prepares new menu items under direction of supervisor.

3) Ensures attractive, consistent presentations of food items, both buffet and plated.

4) Monitors quality and consistency of food items prepared.

5) Handles all needs and accommodates customer requests in a timely manner.

6) Sets up, re-stocks, maintains, and cleans food preparation areas.

7) Responsible for preparing finished product using mis en place.

8) Responsible for ensuring presentation standards are meet for all hot and cold items.

9) Reads and interprets recipes.

10) Keeps work area clean and organized.

11) Adheres and maintains standards for sanitation and safe food handling.

12) Follows all safety procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.

1) At least one years experience is preferred.

2) Knife, sanitation, temperature and all required elements for basic cooking for health department standards

3) WA State food handler’s card required

4) Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

(1) Full-Time, (1) Part-Time Non-Exempt (hourly) position

COMPENSATION.

$12.50 per hour + Full Benefits
