Stay focused. Don’t slack.

What was the most rewarding thing about high school for you?

I haven’t been there yet, but graduating. Getting out of here. Making it through the work to graduate.

What has been your favorite subject in high school?

Science, I think, just because you get to learn new, interesting things about the earth that you never really knew. You get to

learn about new animals and sea creatures. I think it’s really interesting. You get to learn about the human body. It’s things that you never really knew when you were little.

Who has been your favorite teacher?

Ms. (Kristin) Weems. She’s always pushed me to go harder, even if I didn’t have my work turned in or something. She would push me to do it better. She helped me to get my grades. She’s just one of those nice people that’s understanding. She’s there to talk to. She’s one of those teachers that, if you need to talk or if you have some issues or you have some homework you need to do, she’s really understanding.

Who has had the biggest impact on you in high school?

Probably Mr. (Thomas) Tafoya. He has helped me a lot all of these four years.

If you could change one thing about your high school career, what would it be?

Not skipping (school).
