I purposely skipped out on listing new releases during November and December, there were just way too many things coming out for the Holidays. Like me, I’m sure there were many new products that caught your eye during the last few months. This might be a bit of a long post, here are some new releases I’m curious about:

100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Pomegranate Oil Anti Aging Lipstick: Phew what a mouthful! I love 100% Pure products for their famously pure and effective formulas but Lipstick is something new we’ve yet to see from the brand. How gorgeous do those red-chrome tubes look? There are 8 pretty shades, I’m curious to try! Apparently this lipstick is chock-full of antioxidants and vitamins to provide moisturized lips and a youthful appearance: “Anti-aging, super moisturizing lipstick concentrated with pomegranate oil, shea butter and colored from fruit pigments to keep lips super soft and youthful. Antioxidant and vitamin packed.” $25 at 100% Pure

Vapour Organic Beauty Essence Restorative Night Treatment, Visionary Advanced Solution Serum: I’m intrigued that the brand is dabbling in skincare and I think it makes sense as makeup formulas are free pretty equivalent to good skincare products. The Night Treatment ($75) is a facial serum slated to re-balance, calm, and revitalize skin with the use of “the finest certified organic skin soothing ingredients, natural healing botanicals and powerful antioxidants”. The Visionary Serum ($125) is described as a potent but gentle anti-aging formulation that will aid in smoother, firmer and more youthful looking skin with the help of 100% active ingredients. Both of these Vapour skincare additions sound intriguing though the high-price points may be a bit downside. $75 or $125 at Vapour Organic Beauty or at Eco Diva Beauty

RMS Beauty Tinted “Un” Powder: This is a welcome new twist on a classic RMS product, the “Un” Powder finishing powder. The tinted version is available in 3 shades and can be seamlessly matched and used with the cult-favorite (and my personal favorite face product,)”Un” Cover-Up concealers. The tinted powders sound like they’ll be nice alternative to translucent finishing powders using the same RMS ultra-fine, lightweight formula to “minimize the appearance of pores, softens the skin and absorbs oil” and most importantly, add some coverage. $34 exclusively at RMS Beauty

Skin Cleanse by Adina Grigore: I always love reading books written by green beauty gurus! Adina Grigore, the founder of Brooklyn-based organic skincare company, S.W. Basics of Brooklyn has written Skin Cleanse, a comprehensive guide to switching to an all-natural skincare regime. “Skin Cleanse helps readers diagnose and understand the underlying cuases of their individual skin problems and offers all-natural recipes—using inexpensive ingredients that can be found at the grocery store to treat them effectively.” I’m certainly intrigued by this book as I have already loved many S.W. Basics products. I can’t wait to read about Adina’s tips and her approach to natural skincare. Pre-order on S.W. Basics of Brooklyn (Amazon, B&N, etc). After purchasing, send in your receipt to get a $5 off discount on your future S.W. Basics purchase!

Nourish Organic Renewing + Cooling Eye Treatment Cream: One thing I look for in an eye cream is its ability to hydrate and soothe puffy, sensitive skin. This new Eye Treatment from Nourish Organic is really intriguing to me specifically because of the packaging with its “innovative, cooling applicator” in addition to a formula that reduces puffiness and dark circles. I also love that the formula includes avocado and Morrocan argan oil, both of which are great for sensitive skin in deeply nourishing and refreshing skin. The price for this eye cream is also very affordable in comparison to others on the market while the product is suggested for all skin types. $19.99 at Nourish Organic

Nourish Organic Advanced Facial Cleansing System: Nowadays, there are a million brands trying to emulate and improve that classic Clarisonic brush that got the whole beauty world into a (IMHO) unnecessary frenzy. Personally with super sensitive skin, I’m a bit scared of these brushes (they look so abrasive) if not just an extra tool to add to my skincare regime. I’m mostly content using my favorite face cloths. But this tool from Nourish Organic has peaked my interest: it’s a powerful facial cleansing brush with 2-speeds, is palm-sized and shower-safe. But here’s the best part: Nourish Organic claims not only are the brush heads for this tool recyclable (and they include return envelopes to send in/recycle your used brush heads), the entire device is recyclable! What?! “Not only can the brushes be recycled, but so can the entire device. The packaging is made of recyclable PCR.” You can also purchase the cleaning brush replacements on the website ($29.99 for a pack of 3.) $49.99 exclusively at Nourish Organic

LURK Eau de Toilette: As much as I’m discovering more natural and organic fragrances that I love and as much as I’m learning to love fragrant body oils and roll-on perfumes more, I still haven’t found too many of these types of fragrances as sprays. Call me lazy, but I’ve always loved the effortlessness of perfume sprays to apply more product and for me, the ability for scents to linger longer overall through application with a spray. Not to mention, the appeal factor a perfume bottle has among beauty collections. The new LURK Eau de Toilette sprays are chic enough to display on a beauty vanity and contains LURK’s handcrafted, essential oil blends each with a base of organic jojoba oil. Currently, there are 2 Eau de Toilette scents available from LURK: BS003 (“Dry woods mix with crisp citrus notes and sweet bergamot” in a base of USDA organic cane alcohol that is triple distilled for purity) and RSW005 (An “androgynous scent” featuring “warm sandalwood and earthy rose”). Though these are a bit pricey in comparison to other natural perfumes, I’m lusting over the stylish spray bottle packaging, handcrafted blends, and non-toxic formulations that LURK so effortlessly nails. $185 for BS003, $225.00 for RSW005 at LURK, Integrity Botanicals, The Detox Market
