I honestly have no clue what is going on with Kantai Collection ~Kan Colle~, or why it is suddenly so popular that every damn figure company just *has to* make a figure from it. Is it like… Strike Witches with boats? Oh my god, I looked it up… and it is. Moe, anthropomorphized versions of WWII warships. It’s like Moe Hitler, with boats. I can’t. Japan seems absolutely resolute to make WWII cute, which is both kind of weird but also totally terrifying considering how much of their own history they sweep right under the rug.
Okay, enough with Japan’s sketchy history of torture and genocide! Let’s talk butts. I mean, girls. Cause it’s not like the Shimakaze Nendo focused on her butt, so we definitely won’t assume that this figma version of her will also focus on her butt. At least the Nendoroid of Akagi seems less… butt focused. Actually she’s really friggin cute!
