When Kotobukiya showed off some art of a Cu-Poche Hestia that was “just a concept” and “not for a real figure” I was 99.9% sure it WAS for a real figure, just not approved yet. I mean, Hestia is hot shit right now, and they already have a scaled figure of her. And lo and behold, Cu-Poche Hestia is indeed a reality! It seems they were waiting until she was sculpted to show her off. Man, can you believe they beat GSC to this one? Kind of shocking.
In a clever move, they’ve shown her off in video form form so you can see how the ribbon will work in real-life with her action figure parts. I’m not a Hestia fan but I like how they’re doing this release: let’s see how she turns out painted!
