Here at our Honda dealership, we take great pride in the brand we represent. Honda's successes, after all, are our successes, and with that in mind we can’t help but to say 2014 has been a pretty incredible year. Even better, it looks like Honda is going to finish the year out strong, as November proved to be a record-setting month for our favorite brand.
Sales of Honda models have been unbelievable this year, with several months setting records for most units sold. November, for example, was the best November Honda has ever had, with several core models like the 2015 Honda Accord and 2015 Honda CR-V helping to lead the charge.
Honda actually sold a total of 106,957 vehicles last month, a 4.9% increase over 2013 and pretty easily the strongest November in Honda history. The CR-V led the charge there, comprising nearly a third of those sales (32,378) and seeing a boost of 37.7% over November of last year. The Accord sold 25,275 models in November, while the 2015 Honda Civic tallied 23,068. Those three models accounted for nearly 80% of Honda sales this month, which is no surprise since each is typically near the top of its segment in annual sales.
The redesigned 2015 Honda Fit, however, surprised with 6,421 units last month, the highest-ever total for that model and a 55.1% jump over last year's numbers.
We here at Planet Honda have noticed how crazy business has been lately and we're definitely grateful for it. We're also grateful to have played our small part in these record-setting numbers, and we certainly hope that the month of December will be equally (if not exceedingly) successful. It has been a great year for sales, and it just keeps getting better!
