As those of us on the East Coast continue to clean up and
regroup after Hurricane Sandy, many businesses are still feeling the effects of
the storm, both physical and financial. Being in an affected area, we know
firsthand the struggles that many businesses and families are faced with, and
in fact many East Coast dealerships have had to deal with value lost due to
storm damage. Our hearts go out to our community, and we hope for a quick
recovery for all-in fact, our dealership is currently providing flood

Honda has provided us with some heartening silver linings,
however, and quite recently a big one has been yet more news of Honda sales
success. Despite the disastrous and far reaching effects of the superstorm,
Honda is still reporting sales gains in the US, its largest market. The
automaker has seen a 25% increase in sales so far this year. Though sales
numbers in October only showed an 8.8% increase (much lower than projected)
Honda is still doing very well in the US and is expected to finish out a strong
year of sales in 2012. The new 2013 Honda Accord and redesigned CR-V crossover
are largely to thank for the growth, along with increased production at
American plants. As dealers, we are always happy to see good news for Honda. North Plainfield-area Honda
fans surely are, too!
The redesigned 2013 Honda Accord, as you can probably tell,
is one of our favorite new Honda models, because it's taken all of the best
Accord features, restyled them, and produced an efficient, comfortable vehicle
that has very wide appeal. We're not surprised that it's doing its part to
bolster Honda sales here. The 2013
Honda CR-V received updates of its own, most notably upgrades to its
powertrain and styling, which we think many consumers are excited about. When
