Sun Ming Roast Duck Cheras
If there is one place I will go in Cheras to fix my craving on roast duck, the place will be either Restoran BBQ Kong Meng in Taman Maju Jaya or Restoran Sun Ming in Taman Connaught. Both equally good and has its own strength but recently I revisited Restoran Sun Ming.
It is located at No 137, Jln Sarjana, Taman Connaught (GPS Coordinate is below) and they open for lunch only. They will close their restaurant once their food is sold out which is usually 3pm to 5pm depending on crowd. During lunch hour, the queue can be quite crazy and finding a car park at that time is horrendous.
They are popular for their roast duck, char siew (BBQ caramelized pork belly), siew yoke (roasted pork belly) and Grilled Chinese Andouillette. You have to pay once the food is served and the restaurant is not air conditioned.
You can’t complain on the food. I ordered roast duck with char siew. Crispy roast duck skin with tender meat and yummylicious char siew. The prices here are slightly higher than others. When restaurant is popular and food is good, paying slightly extra is fine with me.
