Besides the new Dragon Quest XI announcement, Square Enix has also announced various other titles for the series during their Dragon Quest presentation. You can view the entire presentation below.
First up, Dragon Quest Heroes II: Futago no Ō to Yogen no Owari is now slated for spring 2016 in Japan. The title will be made available for Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and Playstation Vita. The title will feature a brand new story, protagonist and setting that will feature characters from previous Dragon Quest games as well as four player multiplayer. More news will be revealed at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.
As with Dragon Quest XI, a Playstation 4 port of the MMORPG Dragon Quest X will be in development with a Nintendo NX port under consideration.
Square Enix has also featured a new gameplay video for the Minecraft-inspired title Dragon Quest Builders, which you can view below. The game will be available this winter in Japan for the Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and PS Vita.
Lastly, Square Enix gives us a first look of artwork from the upcoming Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 for the 3DS. The game will allow players to ride any monster, and it will ship sometime after Dragon Quest Builders hits this winter in Japan.
