Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are clicked here during the promotions of Badrinath Ki Dulhania in Lucknow. The movie directed by Shashank Khaitan, and produced by Karan Johar under the Dharma Productions banner, marks the second installment of a franchise that began with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. The film is slated to release on March 10 on the Holi weekend.
The lead stars of the movie have been promoting their movie aggresively for the past one month. They have also been praising each other during the promotions.
Recently, Alia spoke about Varun and how he was shy around girls. "Since these days I go with Varun for promotions, I have got to know him in and out. He has so much fan following and whenever girls scream his name or even come to kiss him, he becomes all shy. Varun is the shyest person you will come across," Alia said in a statement.
Alia and Varun debuted in Bollywood together with the Karan Johar movie Student of the Year. The stars have had a very successful run in Bollywood and have been appreciated for their acting prowess.
Are you looking forward to Badrinath Ki Dulhania? It does promise to me a lot of fun! Recently, Varun commented that the movie deals with the male chauvinism that is rampant in the country today.
