Hey guys this is my last wardrobe tracking of 2016, this is crazy. First, I wanted to wish you all and Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, hope Santa will be good to you. Second, today I will start sharing pics on Instagram that never made it to the blog, for a fun recap of 2016 so make sure to follow along @pinksole_rach. On Wednesday, I did a huge closet cleaning, I got rid of 88 pieces of clothing, several bags and shoes as well. My closet was really getting on my last nerve, it was jammed packed and I could barely see what I have. I will be sending everything to Haiti, but I have a couple pieces I’m thinking of selling on eBay. It did make me feel weird to get rid of so much stuff, I wonder why did I have all this stuff in the first place. I am not a minimalist person, but I do think I need to be more selective with my purchases. It’s OK to try trends here and there but I refuse to get my closet back to this place again. I feel like my closet is finally in a good space for my lifestyle, so next year I really want to focus on getting more special pieces and less impulse shopping sprees. All I could think about is if I didn’t purchase all this crap in the first place I could have used that money to buy a really nice designer bag or shoes instead. So next year I need to really stick to the quality over quantity motto, and I’m writing it here today to keep myself accountable.
