Ok, so I know I’m a bit late with this blog post but things have been so crazy busy for me lately. I was in Namibia for 3 days last week attending my uncle’s funeral, which left me feeling both drained and despondent. As Beauty South Africa’s blogger of the month I’ve had to write 2 articles and film & edit a YouTube video for their YouTube channel. I’ve also had sponsored blog posts (Giorgio Armani and upcoming Kiehl’s campaigns) and giveaways that I needed to write and prep for this past week and a half, so I haven’t really had a chance to sit down and write my ‘Products Popping Up’ blog post. This is probably one of my favourite blog posts to write, mainly because I know my readers enjoy them so much, so it has been a pink elephant in one of the corners of my mind these past 2 weeks.
Today is Saturday, I woke up bright & early this morning to sit down, write the blog post and create the images. It’s going to be a long one because I have A LOT of new product launches to show you. I’m sipping away on a fruit smoothie - I recently bought a Nutribullet (I have the grey one) and I’m obsessed! Today’s recipe includes banana, frozen mango, frozen raspberries, fresh pineapple, chia seeds and coconut water. I’ve tried the whole adding kale or spinach to your smoothies thing, but I can still taste the greens. Blegh… So I’m sticking to fruit smoothies. I know fruit contains a lot of sucrose and it might make me gain some weight, but I only have one small smoothie each morning for breakfast so it should be alright. And I eat loads of veggies throughout the day, so I don’t really need the added greens.
Anyway, now that I’ve bored you to death with my smoothie story…try to wake up and go get yourself something to drink (or eat). I’ll wait here until you get back… Ready? Ok, let’s go!
