Introducing the next generation in Stila’s metallic makeup line-up, Magnificent Metals Lip Gloss is a revolutionary metallic lip lacquer with an intense, multidimensional finish.  Inspired by the runway, their cutting edge formula is infused with conditioners and micro-fine pearls that leave lips with a luxurious, satin-shimmer finish. Retail Box is launching their Secret Box this month as well – eeeeep!  So exciting!  I don’t have a lot of info on this yet, but a limited amount of these secret boxes, filled with awesome goodies by your favourite brands will be available to purchase on the Retail Box website for R 99,00 soon!  I’ll be sure to let you guys know on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram when these will be available for purchase.  Keep those eyes peeled!

REN is launching their much anticipated Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial.  A transforming treatment that instantly revitalizes and visibly rejuvenates the skin. L’Oréal Paris has created a luminescent makeup collection called L’Or Lumière infused with light and an irresistible aura of glamour.  The collection features 3  metallic mono eyeshadows (Colour Riche Chameleon Mono Eyeshadow), 2 highlighter face powders (Lumi Magique Pearl Powder), 2 stunning liquid lipsticks (Colour Riche Lip Extraordinaire), 1 nail polish (Colour Riche Le Vernis) & 1 mascara (Volume Million Lashes Mascara).   The whole collection will be available from September 2014 to December 2014 at Clicks, Dis-Chem & Foschini stores.  The pricing of the collection items are indicated in the picture above (click on the image to enlarge).

The star of the collection, for me, is the Lumi Magique Pearl Powder (available in 2 shades).  This is a highlighting face powder that has been compared to the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder – the shimmer you see on top is an over-spray and will disappear after a couple of uses, to reveal a mattifying face powder.  The Lumi Magique Pearl Powder will retail for R 159,95 at Clicks, Dis-Chem and Foschini stores.

Gucci introduces Gucci Première Eau de Toilette, a lighter, brighter, more delicate incarnation of this memorable signature scent, to celebrate the thrill of everyday success.   The fresh, sparkling fragrance combines presence and sensual femininity to endow the wearer with an unfading radiance.  The initial bloom triggers a luminous elegance and effervescence, the orange blossom and the light citrus oils combine to give you a sensation that suggests the pouring of a cold bottle of vintage champagne into a tall, elegant glass.  The elegant sparkle of the top notes slowly yield to the radiant white flowers at the heart of the fragrance of freesia, jasmine and soft Bulgarian rose.  As the fragrances dries on skin, the subtle but tenacious warmth of leather, patchouli and musky notes complete the fragrance’s captivating charisma.  Gucci Première Eau de Toilette will retail for R 700,00 (30ml), R 855,00 (50ml) and R 1195,00 (100ml) at your nearest Gucci stockist.

The Bourjois Rouge Edition lipstick range is expanding – introducing Rouge Edition 12 Hours, the new long-lasting lipstick!  Rouge Edition 12 Hours contains shea butter which gives it a creamy texture, with an on-trend semi-matte finish.  Rouge Edition 12 Hours will feature 8 high-trend shades and will retail for R 129,95 at selected Clicks stores from the end of September 2014.

Inspired by the trend of photo-finish perfection, Kérastase has entered a new era where Thermiques offer instant hair fiber perfection.  Kérastase has created Glaçage Thermique, thermo-cares designed to deeply and instantly transform hair fiber under the action of heat.  Glaçage Thermique defined the combined use of Thermique properties with the power of heat to reach a perfect glazed finish for hair.  Used as primers, Thermiques prepare hair fiber for the application of styling.  These 3 products will retail for R 340,00 each and will be available from mid-September at Kérastase partner salons.

Ciment Thermique – Resurfacing reinforcing milk with anti-split-ends and anti-brittleness properties.  This product is designed for weakened hair.

Nectar Thermique – Polishing nourishing milk with anti-roughness and anti-dullness properties.  This product is designed for dry hair.

Keratine Thermique – Smoothing taming milk with anti-frizz and anti-humidity properties.  This product is designed for unruly hair.

Max Factor is launching their Skin Luminizer Foundation this month.  This foundation contains an innovative swirled formula packed with subtle skin luminizers that deliver a beautiful luminous finish with added skincare benefits.  The pearl pigments brighten skin tone for instant radiance, while the elastomers in create ‘windows’ in the skin through which light can be reflected back, creating a radiant effect.  The Skin Luminizer Foundation will retail for R 199,95 at Clicks stores.

Retail Box will be stocking the new Kérastase Discipline range.  Kérastase’s Discipline collection is designed to tackle and treat unruly hair, on all hair types tight curls to straight.  The in-salon Discipline treatment aims to give supple, fluid and smooth hair without any harsh chemicals or damage.  Developed following 7 years of research, the smoothing treatment with Morpho-Keratine concentrate can be maintained at home with the new product line which consists of:  Bain Fluidealiste (a shampoo suitable for all hair types), Bain Fluidealiste Sulphate Free (a shampoo for chemically straightened hair), Fondant Fluidealiste (a lightweight conditioner with smooth-in-motion care, which allows hair to move), Maskeratine (a nourishing mask for unruly, medium to thick hair) and Scellage Fluidealiste (a sealing blow dry activator spray which ensures lasting results and shorter blow dry time and longer lasting results).  So the idea is to get your hair treated with the Discipline treatment and then you use the above mentioned products to maintain the treatment and extent the longevity.  Pricing will range from R 265,00 (shampoos) to R 420,00 (hair mask) and is available right now on Retail Box.
