(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – cPanel Conference 2013 is making its annual return this year with a new destination: New Orleans, Louisiana, otherwise known as the “Big Easy.” The event is just around the corner and will be kicking off on Monday, September 30th and concluding on October 2nd.

Aside from general fun in a city renown for jazz, Mardi Gras and some of the world’s best seafood, there’s a lot of important things cPanel 2013 has in store for the web hosting community.

The conference itself will offer attendees a chance to network, take special technical classes and hear what some of the industry’s greatest minds think about the latest hosting trends.

There’s quite a bit on the agenda and it’s important to note that cPanel 2013 isn’t just hosting business as usual; it’s conducted in a style that emphasizes fun. So what’s all in store for cPanel 2013? We detail some of the most relevant happenings below:

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 30

Located at New Orleans’ historic Sheraton Hotel, registration and exhibitor setup for cPanel 2013 will take place at the hotel’s Grand Foyer & Grand Ballroom (A-C) 1:00PM – 5:00PM.

Nightly Fun

Shortly after (6:00PM), a Second Line Parade will occur as attendees make their way to the Creole Queen, a famous New Orleans paddlewheeler where they’ll enjoy a night on the Mississippi river (7:00PM – 10:00PM). However, cPanel 2013 day 1 fun doesn’t end there. Starting at 10:00PM, attendees will meet up for delicious cocktails at Masquerade, a Harrah’s New Orleans bar.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 1

After a fun night on the town, The SSL Store will kick off breakfast in the Sheraton Grand Ballroom at 9:00 AM as the exhibitor floor opens at the same time.

Keynotes

The day’s events will include cPU Certification Testing (all day, 9:00AM – 5:00PM) while back-to-back keynotes will be provided by eSigns.com CEO Robert Marsh (keynote titled “If I Knew Then What I Know Now”) and ServInt COO Christian Dawson (keynote titled “Lessons From 18 Years in Web Hosting).

11AM-12PM will offer attendees the chance to mingle and network on the Exhibitor floor where just some of the companies participating include SoftLayer, HP, CloudLinux, Open-Xchange, ServerHub, the i2Coalition, SiteLock and SingleHop. Afterwards, attendees will break for lunch (sponsored by The SSL Store) in the Grand Ballroom.

We highly recommend making sure you’re there for a great conversation.

Nightly Fun

Like the preceding night, cPanel attendees will again have a chance for some fun. They’ll board a float and head down to Republic, a live music and nightlife bar where they’ll mingle and drink awesome beverages (meet in the lobby of the Sheraton at 8PM to catch a ride).

WEDNESDAY, OCT 2

Day 3 of cPanel 2013 kicks off with a breakfast sponsored by ServerHub in the Grand Ballroom (A – C). Again, the exhibit floor will be open all day as cPU Certification Testing continues (9:00AM – 5:00PM).
