One thing that I am always on the look out for when I am at thrift stores or garage sales is vintage sewing notions and fabrics and so I love this collection and had so much fun creating with it!
I was inspired by the fold over envelopes to create some flat notecards to slip into them that you can write a quick sweet note to a friend on.
I did a border along the one side of the card with some of the patterned papers included in the kit and ditched on a bit of the bias trim (my absolute favorite thing in the kit!) I really love the vintage inspired flowers in the kit and added a few of those stamped on the coordinating die cuts to the notecard as well.
Who wouldn't want a bit of bright and cheery mail like this in their mailbox?
I played around a bit with the button die cuts layered with the buttons in the kit to create this next card. The buttons in the kit are just the sweetest with the stripe and flower designs.
I stamped the flower into the scalloped rectangle die cut, added the buttons above that, and stitched on a bit of the bias trim at the top.
And finally I made up some smaller notecards that fit into the smaller fold over envelopes in the kit.
I used another patterned paper on the card base and then added a bit of a bouquet with some stamped flowers mixed in with some of the tiny little flower blooms that are included in the kit. The simply sweet sentiment stamped right onto the patterned paper finished of these cute little cards perfectly!
