Just had a brief discussion with one of the Science writers on SNWA via facebook. He is a global warming advocate, but can write up a good column. However, he believes Fox News is an advocate against the AGW movement:

Geoff Vivian I cannot rely on your ability to link to lots of websites Tom. All that proves is that a lot of people have gone to the trouble of creating lots of websites, and that you have the interest and ability to look them up and post the links.
Now that’s a ‘blind leading the blind’ statement if ever I saw one. Those ‘lots of websites’ are sites from recognized leading scientists, quoting and debating, you know ‘actual science’. People like Archibald, Lindzen, Singer, Curry, Evans, Carter, Spencer, Christie, Gray, Hertzberg, Michaels, Dyson, McIntyre, Ball, Pielke Jr and Sr, Idso Bros, and a whole lot more. I also link to those from opposite (AGW) points of view, like Hanson, Mann, Jones, Briffa, Hulme, Schmit, Steffen and co, because there are 2 sides to every story, in some cases 3 or 4. That’s like Fox News, where they have actual debates, not preachers and name calling bulliers.
I rarely, however, visit sites that disallow topical comments, such as SkepticalScience and RealClimate, peddlers of misinformation.

Yes, Geoff Vivian, if you read this, which I doubt, as it has ‘links’ to many websites, I don’t believe anything from BoM, CSIRO, CNN, Fairfax, ABC, BBC, Guardian, University’s, etc. without checking first, because those sites have agendas. They don’t want me (or you) to know the full story.
Now, you can also do some fact checking after you have done your science interviews, Geoff, just as I have. Oh, they wont print it then? Yes, lots of those links are to your articles which I read. I even had to copy and paste the full last one as the SNWA website changes have made it near impossible to post links on WordPress.
I kept silent for years Geoff, reading up on the science at every opportunity, reading all the abusive tirades, and then the Climategate e-mails 1 and 2 were released, confirming what I had decided for myself as to where the truth lay. Now it’s your turn to prove to me that the globe is warming catastrophically.
Maybe you can even answer this: The Top Ten Reasons global temperature hasn’t warmed for the last 15 years.
I had to do my rebuttal here to make sure it makes sense, FB is too silly for something so important. The science of climate has been so corrupted with adjustments, fake quotes, bullying, even lying and making things up. Professors like Lewandowski do a total disservice to the institutions they work or worked for. The bullying is also rife in places like the CSIRO, where scientists working there are even banned from reading up on the alternative view! The damage to real environmental work that warmists and their media enablers have caused is enormous.

The national average was under +0.5°C. I think the Perth BoM needs a Bex a cuppa tea and a good lie down.

Pale Pink is background for max which also seems to signify a range either side of average – Turquoise is cool, Yellow is warm – Buff is hotter. The top row is minimum or night temperature – second line is day or maximum. So just running your eye along you get the impression of the extent of cool spells, warm spells and periods near average.
